I see the Marine already calling HQ, but how the sentence is structured it doesn't make much since. I think there was a bit of translation error. Because for one the Marine is asked if he was on the phone with other Marines, he says "no" which is a lie, but then goes on to say "I was about to" which would be another lie. Because he already did talk to the marines. Which is kind of odd.

I wondering if Wet Hair asked him if he was calling for reinforcements (one way or another) and then the guy said no I wasnt then being hypnotized basicaly said "but I was about to".

When things like this happen I try to figure the basic meaning of what is being said.

Regardless of wether or not that was translated correctly, Wet Hairs straight jacket and swirly eyes give me a Harry Houdini vibe. I bet he Hypnotizes.

I'll add Coby to that list, I think he would play a huge part on this next half of One Piece. I really don't see any talk about Coby in the forums as of late, but he awakened his Haki during the war and Garp's student! We all know he was first introduce in the very beginning of the series and I think Oda have big plans for him. Coby was very weak at the very beginning, but he showed much growth in Water 7. I'm excited to see how much he's gotten stronger in the past two years especially when he shows great potential as a Hakl user under Garp.

No. Just a mecha reference. Mechas combine a LOT in japan. I'm really fucking tired of everyone thinking that things are a TTGL reference, just because that was an exciting and popular show. Even the most famous line from the entire show wasn't even fucking original! (besides the end of the line, "for yours is the drill that will pierce the heavens"; that part was obviously original, and hilarious)

Sea kings just kind of jump out of the ocean and attack the boat. One of the big three smacks it for 9999 damage. The crew has meat for like a day.

There was never any reason for her to come with Zoro, anyway. The Perona fans are/were just delusional.

Hopefully after these Straw Hat covers are over, Oda will put in a single cover story page for Perona still on Mihawk's island with her slaves (or perhaps back with Moria somehow) so the whole thing can finally be put to rest.

Anyway, the chapter wasn't quite what I was expecting, but that isn't such a bad thing. Chopper looks a lot more mature in his reindeer form, he's also a lot larger! Glad we finally got some confirmation there.

And Franky being able to have his hair changed is, of course, wonderful. However I still wish his default hair could be that style he had beforehand. Oh well, at least we were shown he still can have it.

They are going in to the NW after all, and they need to pick up a new member on their way… and the only place this would happen is in Fishman Island.

I think they are supposed to be wings. Not growing out of Shakky of course, but as some sort of stylish thing on her shirt. On the front of it it looks like there are angel wings, and the ones on the back look like devil wings.

I've thought about the same thing. Especially since Coby keeps having all these rematches with Luffy, I wonder if he's actually going to become some sort of obstacle for him in the future. It has been 2 years, who knows.

EDIT: Omg wouldn't it be amazing if Coby was promoted and he got a DF during these last two years?

The possibility of getting a new member in Fishman Island is very high considering it might be the next big arc. Hopefully it is a girl. As for addition to the big three, I'm not to sure. Jimbei is an exception, but a lot of the fishman so far are really not that strong. I'm not worried because all the SH gotten stronger. Sanji and Zoro under Ivankov and Mihawk should be much stronger now. Im really excited what Franky got, he was already a special engineer, but learning from Vegapunk's lab just makes me wonder what he upgraded himself with. Nami, Ussop, and Chopper got stronger especially on their expertise (weather/navigation, sniping, as a doctor). Brook and Robin is a mystery to me. I really wonder how Dragon and the revolutionaries help Robin get stronger. For Brook I would really be disappointed if he only improve his music and not get any stronger as a fighter although it could be great in the anime or annoying

Even though Brook is a swordsman, Zoro is THE swordsman character, so Brook's technique will be something to do with music, as he himself said "my music has power". Perhaps something to do with the guitar he has, some sorta waves of notes that assault the mind, something like jigglypuff and 'sing', something building up on his last attacks, which were music based too. Oda probably found some way to make it badass.

As for Robin, I don't think her DF powers can get any better, she probably just…. learned a lot of history and inside info that'll help the crew in sticky situations.... maybe she can punch and kick now too. That'd be nice.

I Can see it happening that luffy takes care of all the fakes and the bunch off fodder and those 90mil rookies + 200mil brothers. Sentoumaru arrives and spots zoro and sanji and they start fighting, then the crew arrives and it's a big battle, luffy then arrives after beating the crap out of everyone and defeats sentoumaru while the others were taking care of the rest. That way sentoumaru notices that everyone has grown, because he will have fought the whol crew without luffy and then also Luffy. This way they would all get a nice bounty raise.

That is what I was hoping that Brook would have some musical power or attack. I was glad the marines now officially recognized him as a member of the Straw Hats!

Robin is still a mystery though. So far she's been using basic of her devil fruit abilities and really its getting old for me. Maybe she would learn to use advance ways to use her DF abilities like Luffy's 2nd or 3rd gears?? Im pretty sure Od had something to surprise us. If all she learned was history its really weak. Sanji learned to cook food that will make them stronger, chopper learned more medical knowledge to help cure the crew, Nami learned a lot about weather especially in the New World that would help her navigate, Franky learned a lot of tecnology in Vegapunks lab that would help him invent new weapons and ship upgrades. Robin learned history??? It might help the crew I guess, but in my opinion its the least helpful, so I think she should get stronger. She did say she wanted to get stronger just beforre the time skip

The chapter was really great. The cucumber, my favorite character apart from the strawhats, was displayed too.

I hope the cucumber is in the fanpolls if there will ever be some again.

Maybe someone said "Don't worry Sabo Whitebeard will save Ace" Too much going on in the world - too deep in something else.

The resolution to the who incident of Luffy's youth will come to ahead when it is time. As so many point out that entire arc culminated with the fact Dragon saved "Someone with horrific injuries" Is something that all the people that have been reading for a long long time recognise as something that will be brought up later.

Just think about how long it has taken from the end of TB when they made their way to SA to now. And how much has changed in that time, the story is set out as hard as it is to be patient its the only way we're going to find out what happens.

I hope the villains in the future don't all look like this. They're putting even the Whitebeard Division commanders to shame. That walrus guy doesn't hold a candle to some of the more recent characters we've seen.
