Ever wish you had a PSP so you could play Final Fantasy Tactics with its souped up completely redone translation, but didn't want to put up with the outrageous load times and the cash to buy it?
Ever wish FFT was a little (or a lot) more difficult, with enemies that actually posed a threat, equipped with skills and items that actually make sense. Or wish that some characters and skills weren't so broken as to make the game a complete cakewalk?
I did.
And my wish was GRANTED.
Enter Final Fantasy Hacktics.

A community where various modded versions of FFT exist - some utilizing the old game and balancing it extensively to either be HARD AS COCKS or relatively difficult, requiring good sense and careful attention to your enemies. Some are entirely new scenarios using the established characters or entirely new ones, with branching storylines, hundreds of new spells, new sprites, and new classes. One is a version with the PSP translation (none of the new scenes or characters, unfortunately).
Right now I'm playing the mediumtype with the PSP translation, and it is so amazing as to bring me to tears. Characters have so much more depth! Battles are so much more fun! The Knight is actually USEFUL. The game can't be broken with +Speed up and Swordskills cost MP!
It... it is glorious.
And it is my gift to you, Arlong Park.
(You will need a PSX emulator and a Tactics iso. If necessary, I can guide you through the process towards setting it up as best I can.)
