and polish them and continue practicing. And I love that little Croc. It's pretty good for a first time pen drawing. Drawing in pen is really hard at first, and the only reason I can now is becuase I went through a faze in sixth grade where I would ONLY draw in pen. They weren't very good, but after a month, I got better and better. And now It's a lot easier for me to draw in pen. Just continue practicing, and you'll continue to get better.

I have some new stuff! Well some of it is actually older, but I got around to inking it.

My first Akainu! Please don't see the mistake, please don't see the mistake. Yeah basically since my internet was down I was using a chibi as a reference so I believe I screwed up on his outfit but realized this only after I had inked it.

One Piece Pillow Box. This was an assignment for English class. This is a green paper box (in real life, pillow boxes are much less flimsy; they were used to make dreams come true by placing those dreams in a box and sleeping on it basically). The awesome part about this cube is that each character's number (pre-ts) adds up like a real dice would (opposite faces add up to seven). I didn't even intend to do that! lol Robin is the only one who breaks the pattern because I didn't want to draw Usopp. My design also happened to win first prize for "best pillow box" cuz my teacher thought it was cute.

! This next one is a super mini sketch done entirely in ballpoint pen. What the hell have I done. I was originally trying to experiment on whether the pen would bleed through the paper and it started out being just a plain old Croc chibi head. That's also my first bananawani sketch.

This is a present for Local. And yes, Chopper is taking off his pants. I intended to make Chopper's face cute, but then he wound up looking perverted. Local is subconsciously affecting my brain. God help us all. btw, it's not actually NSFW, in case you were wondering. It's only dirty to anyone with a dirty mind.

I'm very very very sorry for bumping this thread! bows Please don't kill me. There was no other place to put it anyway.

Remember that project I was working on that forced me to come back here and ask for help? I got it done and it's now on youtube! First a little explanation… this was an assignment I had in my creative writing class. I got a real late start because I couldn't think of any ideas. And then I had this really dumb idea and decided to roll with it cuz there were no other options. It's a crappy parody of pokemon with One Piece. Yes. You heard me.

I spent COUNTLESS HOURS on google trying to find screenshots and a lot of stuff was blocked on the school computers. Praise be to this one german website I found because without it I would not have been able to get half of these images. Fuuu I forgot to put that in the credits. In comic life this was like 73 pages long. <__< I added music and stuff in imovie.

All the voices in this video are mine. MY HORRIBLE SOUL-KILLING VOICE. It sounded way better in my head but I cannot do deep, manly voices to save my life. ;3;

Part of why I wanted to finish was because it was worth 50 points. But the main reason was because I wanted to keep a promise to myself for a change. And.. I wanted to share this with the Fandom Pirates. So if you're a Fandom Pirate, get your butt in here now!! Yes, even you local. … Please? I was incredibly embarrassed to do the voice-overs like you have no idea. All things considered it could have been a whole lot worse. Oh and I got an A on this.

Aww thanks Kitsune! I think part of why I was able to do Chopper better than the others is cuz I like to annoy my mom by imitating Chopper all the time. Looks like it finally came in handy! :silly:

Funnily enough, the first time I recorded one of Chopper's lines, I was so startled by how similar it sounded to the original that I screwed up the recording and had to do it two more times before getting it right.

Thank you! I feel so proud to know that I can drive people to do a spit take. The only other instance that can top this is the time when I posted that OP Lady Gaga parody pic in the awesome images thread and caused instant brain damage and spilled coffee for several people who saw it first thing in the morning.

Yeah it took well over a week simply for the fact that I had to reeeeeally scour the internet down to the bare wires just to find all these images. A lot of images were blocked and there were a lot of low quality, thumbnail-sized ones… It also took a bit of playing around in comic life to crop images.

Surprisingly, I picked up on how to use imovie pretty fast. I have never been technology-literate in the least, especially not when it comes to digital editing, but the absolute final deadline drove me to mastering it in less than four hours. I even somehow managed to figure out how to splice the song at the right time so I could include the ending instrumentals of "Dr. TonyTony Chopper." I didn't want to just end the song abruptly and by fated chance I happened to find the right place to cut so that the verse would still be part of the actual lyrics. When I first put them side by side, there was this very brief skip between the two parts of the song, a millisecond break which would be impossible for anyone not to notice, but now you can't even tell it's there unless you knew the song well enough to recognize where I spliced it.

And did I mention that Google search engine FAILS HARDCORE? Initially I got a ton of helicopters, Michio Kaku, and fanart which oddly were from posts in the couples thread (seriously what does CrocoXDaz have anything to do with "chopper" or "kaku" google?:getlost:) But the weirdest search result I got was myself. My avatar and sig showed up and it was a little weird. :wassat:

Maybe it's just me, but the creativity forum seems like a zombie. half-dead. :sad: At this point I just want someone to leave a random comment in fics so I don't have to keep editing my post cuz I don't wanna double post. Or I have bad timing perhaps.

Now maybe it's just me, but I feel like I drew the Fandom jolly roger a lot more "mature" than Sai-chan's original. The face is less round, so I think it looks more intimidating and older if that makes sense. I'm proud to say I got proportions down pretty well. I was worried cuz I tend to fail at symmetry. Oh, might as well include the actual text. This is the dedication:

! I dedicate this portfolio to The Fandom Pirates, a group of people that I met over the internet a few months ago. We're all similar in that we're all crazy and weird. Unexpectedly, we formed a close bond, kind of like a really bizarre family. Chatting with them made me feel as though I had finally found a place where I could be myself without being afraid. They are always so encouraging and inspirational. Most importantly, every single one of them has loved me with all their hearts. I have made mistakes that I'm not proud of, yet they have never stopped supporting me. It is truly rare to find so many genuinely compassionate people who are so reliable. They give me the strength to keep going every day.

Random ass drawing that honestly had nothing to do with the portfolio. I bombed this project only cuz I didn't even do the essay which was minus 70 points.

I love little Croc~ and how we now have official drawings from Oda. :wub::wub: But I love how little Croc still has a frowny face. I don't think he's ever genuinely smiled except for one time. Hmm, drawing sand is gonna be a challenge. I really like how Oda draws the sand, don't you?

Little Croc is adorable. I just wanna hug the little tyke because dammit he's so cuuuute. That little pouty frown just makes him cuter.

The way Oda draws sand is actually a technique used in art; it's called 'stippling,' and it's a pain in the ASS to do. It takes forever to do correctly, but it does look awesome when finished. However, I have no patience for it, lol; I always get pissed off when I try to attempt any sort of stippling.

Kind of makes me wonder where he gets those coats and how they just seem to be EVERYWHERE he goes. Even in the depths of hell… there are pimp coats to be found. You only need look for it. Not to mention cigars.
