Sentoumaru is smart (and strong) and I can't imagine they defeat him easily. Also if they defeat him now, they will have Kizaru on their back immediately. Yet I can't imagine Luffy & Co running from Sentoumaru now that they have reunited to conquer the NW. What would be the point of these two years then ?
So I'm for the option "the fake SH will take responsibility": the real SH will just watch on distance the marines taking care of Fluffy, with the ?WTF? look on their faces. And they will depart quietly, while saying goodbye to Rayleigh/Duvall/… (even if Luffy never says goodbye).
Unless Brook has so many followers that the marines won't be able to act without killing innocent people.
But I'd also like a scenario where the SH would be celebrated by the people on Shabondi, because on about every island they have been, people have been praising them on their departures. I'd like them to leave a good impression on Shabondi too... -
To clarify, I am saying that Blackbeard was using 'haki' as a common term used to describe one's willpower or charisma, rather than knowingly gauging and referencing the 'level', if you will, of Luffy's 'Haki'.
The common concept for Haki is the potential form of Haki in One Piece I was talking about.
Say, even if Haki was never brought up as an ability/technique in One Piece, it would still be something that can become stronger through life experience. -

Exactly, there's no point in them running now. And two years ago, Sentoumaru was a road block for them. It will be like when Goku faced off against Tao Pai Pai the first time, and then the second time. At least, that's what I hope :ninja:

It is highly doubtful the captain of the science unit and personal bodyguard of Dr.Vegapunk will be defeated in an arc in which Dr.Vegapunk has'nt appeared, never mind that the doctor has'nt appeared in the story at all yet.

We have almost the exact scenario that brought down the SHs two years ago, and I don't see how Oda will not have them face this same scenario to show the crew's growth in the last two years.

Zoro trained under Mihawk, the strongest swordsman currently in the story.

My thinking is that since the two hunters have bounties of around 200 million, that they may actually be stronger than the two were pre-timeskip and that is why Zoro and Sanji won't walk all over them.

i didnt mention it had to be physical but neither did Rayleigh. But let me reread that chapter again and ill get back to you. But either way, it is something you can grow based on how much you grow mental or physical or etc.

The first time they met in jaya i believe he was talking about his spirit in genaral but in impel down he was talking about the punch he recieved from luffy imbeded with haki shown in the anime when he was screaming in agony

Growth on physical strength can make you more confident and ambitious though, especially in One Piece world. That "as well" of BB made a lot of sense. Despite affecting each other, it's still two different things.

Yes, when he is in light form. Still, it's not really a convenient way to travel since he would need to be reflected by something properly placed to change direction to where he wants to go.

I think the greatest difficulty would be accuracy at that distance. Though his best bet would be to go from Marine HQ to somewhere on top of the Red Line, across the Red Line, then just aim at the archipelago. But considering how HIGH the Red Line is an error of more than a degree could send him into outer space.
