Next Shounen Jump (Nº 44) will have One Piece´s Big News (as weel One Piece´s return) and it seems magazine will talk about next One Piece Movie.

One Piece Movie 11 will be release in 2011 Spring, in 3D.

Probably we´ll have SJ pictures on Wensday to confirm the news.

I'm really am afraid that it's not going to be a good movie. Because the period of time is way to short. Toei only thinking about the money now and not thinking over a period of time how to make a good One Piece film.

But yeah lets see what the upcoming news is going to be.

In 3D? Seriously? I always wondered what a One Piece movie in 3D would be like. I have seen some well done 3D cartoon animation before so it might be interesting. I suppose to make a 3D animated movie it would be converted afterwords from 2D with a depth map of some sort. Thanks for the info.

In case anybody is interested I have a still from the One Piece anime that I converted to 3D a while back. The picture is in anaglyph so red blue glasses are necessary. If anybody has real 3D equipment and wants the original just give me a shout.

Spring 2011 is still a longer development time than the other movies save 10 (though that was stated to be due to Oda completely throwing out the original script) got. 3D? I can't really wrap my head around how that would work with traditional animation unless the backgrounds are all computer-generated. Still, I don't like 3D. It's a gimmick and adds nothing to my viewing experiance. It just makes it harder for me to discern detail in backgrounds.

Anyway, I was kinda hoping that they would hold off on another movie until the next Straw Hat joined so that they could include him/her, but I guess not. If one does join in the manga by then, the anime still wouldn't be near that point come spring. Ah well. Hope the music will be as good as ever.

Oda said that the 10th movie of one piece would be the last adventure of Luffy as a 17 year old. So how could their be another ending? What I mean is that the war would over until Luffy gets older.

A marine ford's (completely off canon) retelling with maybe all the straw hats could actually be fun.
Still it's could very well be fake. If in the next Shounen Jump the title of the movie, or the fact that it will be in 3D are not revealed; the 2ch's info are most likely be fake. Gotta wait some days untill early spoilers come out.

Remember: A different ending for the war doesn't necessarily mean that it goes against Oda's comment. First, OP 10 is unique in that it is a CANON film. Second, ID/Marineford were most certainly not "adventures" in Luffy's sense of the word - they were missions with a very specific goal.

When Movie 10 is canon, it's pretty obvious that it's supposed to play between Thriller Bark and Sabaody. Nothing complicated here.
