it premiered tonight. looks like an old school voltron, macross-style mecha series with some really nice visuals. impressions?
Sym-Bionic Titan (new genndy tartokovsky show)

Not anime/manga related is my impression.
-
my bad, i meant to post this in the media thread..
-
There's also a topic about it IIRC. It's good to hear it's good, though. I'd wish more talent would get recognized by CN than just old masters like Genndy though.
-
i wish there was new talent PERIOD.

I met the dude at a CN press coference inNYC back when I wrote articles for Beckett. He signed a card of Dexter for me after the event and we chatted for about 3 minutes. Very cool guy.

Just finished watching the premier episode. Not a bad little series. It didn't wow me like Samurai Jack did, but I'll continue to watch it.
-
I thought it was cool, ill keep watching.
-
I think the show would have benefited by an hour long premier, first ep went by too quickly. Between this, Generator Rex and Clone Wars, my friday nights actually have entertaining things to watch again ^_^
-
Yeah! I want to know what happens next.
-
Honestly I liked this first episode: fusion of Kirby and Ditko meets Leiji Matsumoto and Go Nagai. Hope for the best honestly…but considering how Samurai Jack was screwed over...
-
i liked it even though im getting worn out on SCI-FI/Robot cartoons

pretty much my own reaction to the series so far.
love the art style, though. so far, that's the lone thing that DID absolutely wow me. -
