So, I just saw Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn for the first time last night. I really enjoyed it! I got in this box set along with the third and fourth movies.
But since I liked Wrath of Kahn, I think I'm not going to watch the next one, even though I have it right here. What would be the point? Star Trek ended when Spock died.
Also, on the ride to work today, I heard this song by a band called the Beatles, and I totally dug it. I guess I could look into seeing if they ever did anything else, but eh, why bother. One song I heard on the radio the once is enough, I think. I know the full breadth of everything about them from that sample, surely.

Alongside several college-length essays about Perona joining the crew, (and this was because of Zoro being on herMihawk's island, not when we were at TB; when he was relying on Zoro to bring her with him AND somehow get her in the crew) AGOG was fairly well known for countering Jinbei as a possibility because Jinbei was too fat to fit through the doors on the Sunny. He literally had like a paragraph of guessing widths to prove it iirc. It only became more laughable with timeskip Franky.

What they're saying has NOTHING to do with having a favorite character. What it is saying is that the only reason that makes sense to drop a series because of one character's death is if you only liked the series for that character. If you really liked other aspects of the series, why should having one character you liked die make you want to quit the series?
