The end of an era, and the beginning of a new one. We begin the podcast with exclusive announcements concerning our "Month of Awesome" which begins this weekend. I have to agree with you on Bleach. I start reading the chapter, then before I know it, BOOM. I'm already 16 pages into a chapter and it feels like I've only read 5. Absolutely disappointing.

Though I will say this. I am hoping Oda gets as much rest and relaxation as humanly possible. If you think about it this way, because Oda has not had a real break since One Piece started, he is probably quite exhausted right about now. Not only that, but in such an exhausted state, he pumped out the Marineford Arc, which was star-studded and absolutely amazing.

I'll repeat, "HE WROTE MARINEFORD WHEN HE WAS EXHAUSTED." Imagine if he had actually been at 100% when he wrote that. I think this rest will not only revitalize his body, but also his mind. I predict that, when he comes back from his vacation, his works will undoubtedly become at LEAST 1.5x-2x better than it has been.

Great episode and well I'm also sad that there won't be a chapter in a month, but Oda deserve it. About the StrawHats changes after the skip:

-A little more adult look for Luffy…possibly some small facial hair (like Sanji)
-Longer hair for Zoro and possible a new visible scar from his training with Mihawk
-Sanji maybe sporting a beard or a goatee.
-Usopp obviously showing muscle
-Some new hairstyle for both girls...I would love Robin to sport glasses
-Brook and Chopper will show no physical differences...maybe new clothing but that's it

And well the whole Haki explanation was great and I want to take Haki 101...LMAO

It was so nice to see Luffy finally being his old self again. I missed him. That's what really made this chapter for me.
Also, all the detail on his hat in that very last frame was just amazing. Thanks for talking about all of it, totally enjoyed it. Just wow.

am i the only one who thinks a 2 year timeskip is barely a timeskip?
and that their physical appearances won't change? my guess is, if there's a change
at all, it'll just be new outfits for a few of the strawhats.

I think it depends how much is accomplished in those two years. How much changes in the world.
As for designs, it's possible we will see some change in their physical appearance.

THE 4TH WALL HAS BEEN BROKEN XD! And it was good ^^ Freaking Amazingly Epic Podcast you guys only fitting to such an awesome chapter. All your comments on the chapter were great and I thought your joke was funny Jason ^^. I would soo buy that canister, I want it. And I love your names for the ‘colors’ mantraki LMAO XD!!! And regarding you guys wanting to have had a flashback to Shanks using the conqueror Haki, Luffy was a little kid he was more focused with not drowning and Shanks losing his arm to save him to focus on what Shanks did so I guess they couldn’t flashback to that. Totally loved all the detail that was put into the Hat in the last panel and Luffy talking not only yo Rayleigh but to us as well God Oda is just Amazing.
I also agree with the whole dividing the manga as two parts after this chapter it would better. Gouty Luffy would be soooo COOL Zoro ponytail would be awesome too!!! I would love for the timeskip to start with Luffy picking up his hat totally and I’d be happy with either showing the crew before or with Luffy first seeing them. I realy just can’t wait for the chapter to see what Oda does X3! And I would LOVE for you guys to do a Milestone episode TOTALLY XD! I can’t wait for Sunday SUPER ^_~!

I would love if the followings chapter leading to chapter 600 are as this:

-Chap 598: Begins with Luffy picking his hat but we don't see him at all other than his hand. Then at Shabondy the first one to arrive to surprise of everyone is Zoro, then followed by Chopper, Robin and Ussop.

-Chap 599: The rest of the SW show up, Sanji, Nami, Brook and Franky respectively. At the end we have Luffy showing up, but again we are not shown his face…maybe he is facing his back to us or just a shadowy figure of him.

-Chap 600: A full reveal of Luffy and well all of them saying or commenting what they have been doing for the past two years and well them getting ready to depart to Fishman Island.

If anything, i really want to see how the marines change(if at all) under the rule of Fuhrer Aokiji. What happens to the world in that time and where the Supernovae end up in the New World is also going to be interesting. There's just so much that can happen, and this next month is going to tear at me, but in the end, it's going to be so worth it!!!
