How about making a new theme for Arlong Park

Since the admins are busy and have multiple things to do so i guess its too much to ask them for a new theme.

The last manga/anime related theme was of thriller bark. So how about making a impel down/war arc theme?

But this would be too much for me alone (since i was ZERO drawing skills and my photoshop skills are average at best).

So basically the idea is, to get a number of people one board (specially all of those with fantastic art threads), discuss about it and if this thing takes off eventually try to reach a conclusion (almost impossible i know, but lets try).

What i want form all of you are

images, ideas, suggestions, criticism etc etc.

So for starting - what do you think of this whole idea? and what should new theme look like? dark (CP9, Thrillerbark)? light (grandline, NF, Christmas)? also what should it be about (one of the two I mentioned above or something else)?

Ehh, personally I'd find having a SH skin would be rather boring. I'd rather have other awesome characters gain the spotlight for this, like the Admirals, or Gol Roger and Whitebeard. Or the Impel Down crew. Or something else that'd also be increadibly awesome.

why don't you make a poll, and see the most popular theme for yourself.

I'd love to see one for the ID lot. As long as it at least has the five main ones (Blugori and Shilliew optional.) sniff Hannybal would get his promotion to top of the page.

err.. i think someone deleted post. but… there was mention of getting admin on board and trying on some nulled dummy board.
about that - i talked with bernn and he says that they will be willing to use anything we make and gave some nice suggestions. About testing. i have a licensed version + dedicated hosting server so will not be a problem.

but most importantly i need to find enough free time. the semester is more hectic this then expected.

You know, a new theme would be perfect to celebrate the timeskip.

A light colored war arc (marineford ?) theme with the most proeminent actors in it.

Crew capitains, Admirals and the two others, Shichibukai and Luffy's team.

As an addition we may have a shot of the Strawhats new designs (if they change of course).

Now let's see

As a title : Arlong Park with the fire style (Like Vol 57's and the 13th op's)

As a banner we'll have :
Luffy
Shanks
Teach
WB
Ace
Garp
Sengoku and the admirals

So it won't be too crowded. As a backround Marineford, since it's where everything shifts in the story.

A white (principal) and blue Marine theme with two seagulls at the sides, or as the message's icons (you know those )

That's all ! Can't think of something else.

A new theme sounds nice. Something from Sabaody Archipelago would be cool. That island was really unique and creative with all those bubbles and giant mangrove trees.

Someone did before, but I don't think that thread came off the ground as much as this one did. Plus, this thread is recruiting artists and etc. to help make a new theme. So I think it's better suited for this subforum.

about the Theme Change…

Eh, I personally think that it wouldn't be in our best interests to make a new theme for Arlong Park based solely on one specific island. For example, If we do a jungle-like, Amazon Lily theme then complaints might arise because others wanted a brighter Marineford theme or others wanted a darker Impel Down theme. Additionally, as more and more Islands are traveled in the New World, there will be more requests for an Arlong Park theme of every last one of those Islands just like now with the many islands of the Grand Line that we've already seen. Of course, you'll there will always be someone who doesn't like the new theme regardless, but I think that you get my point.

So, I propose a compromise. Instead of doing a theme for any specific island, I feel that the next Arlong Park Banner/theme should be the Red Line and it's Oceans. The Arlong Park Banner Background Image can be the Red Line Image Pictured Below with the Straw Hat Ship near the bottom (colored of course!) and the words "ARLONG PARK" can be read in the middle of the image in like a Silver Steel Font. The Forum Color can be mainly Black with the exception of Gold colored pillars or whatnot located on the left and right sides of the board.

So, What do you think?

about that wall… i have been thinking on similar lines.. what i thought was about Aokiji's ice's walls (tsunami frozen) on both sides with bay of marineford in footer. along with pirate and navy ships. Other idea was shabondy... with trees growing along the page and marry-go-round and other stuff at top etc.

but that red line is also a great idea... its probably more eaiser than the rest... but lets see where we go... first of all i have to time… since semester is going more hectic than usual with projects and extra assignments (i even have an exam on monday). on the positive side it gives lots of time to brain strom lol

Hey there, I found a great website to search for new and very exciting font types to use for the "ARLONG PARK" Banner. Each letter below is it's own unique font type so look at them all and tell me which one you like best. There are literal dozens and dozens of other equally new and different fonts besides the ones pictured on the website so don't hesitate and go crazy. If you want my opinion, I believe that the Metal Screw Rivet Font (the A in PARK) would look THE BEST on the site, but the Fiery Font is good to.
