You know I just remembered who Aizen has been reminding me of lately: Perfect Cell. Like how Cell wanted to face Gohan's true power the same way Aizen allowed and helped along with Ichigo being able to power up, only for both to lose it when they started getting their shit pushed in.

Then of course, Aizen will reform, come back, and tell Ichigo that he became stronger, followed by Ichigo defeating Aizen with a final Getsuga Tenshou.

Why do you ignore questions that actually have substanse in them, Zoom? That chapter does have him thinking, like this, and it was still an illusion.

It's amazing how thoroughly Kubos' cornered himself. Have Ichigo win like this, and it'll be the worst climax in the history of fiction.
Have Aizen evolve further into a venomoth or escape to get stronger, and it's horrible business as usual. -
