Just wanted to say, this made me get an image of Franky Gundam vs San Juan Wolf…
Haha dude thanks for the image.
That gave me a good laugh.
Hell it's almost plausible.

A Mistake!
Yup, that's right Sage, I'm trying to upstage you, but more importantly: I FOUND A RARE ODA MISTAKE!

Look in the Alabasta pannel, Nami's Clima Tact is the perfect Clima Tact.
that's not Oda mistake, it's just Usopp was get slightly broken memories after crash landing…
edit: sorry for dopost.
You've been saying that for months though.
Starting to sound like a typical AA patient!notes myself to wave bag of cra…. spoilers in front of Dunc next week
Ugh, hopeless eh?
Let's fix it right now. You've got spoiler forum powers right? Chuck a ban up me.
I wonder what Zoro will do now that everyone got the message and is ready to get stronger. I also hope that we'll know what the message was next time and then: TIMESKIP!
I wonder what Zoro will do now that everyone got the message and is ready to get stronger.
Even if he doesn't get the message, Zoro will train and get stronger.
I already pointed this out but Zoro could never understand the message and try to get to the edge of the island by fighting the monkeys, which will take such a bloody long time, that he will be at SA at almost the same time the others will.
Sanji probably saying something like "How could you NOT get that message Marimo!"
Anyway, that would be fun, but Zoro already understood there was a message so he'll most likely understand (a bit later than the others though :D)
Is it just me or were Chopper and Sanji's 'training' scenarios better than EVERYONE elses'?
Seeing how complex Sanji's was and how surprising Chopper's was I expected some cool stuff but instead it was more along the lines of, "Yep…expected that."
Brook's scene was legendary though.
Watch it someday be incredibly important. (seriously)
That cover page though.
Woah. Neato spiffy.
Shame Oda felt the need to spell out the tattoo thing though.
Sanji and Chopper's training scenario's were a little more complicated and unexpected than the rest, which is probably why they're more interesting.
We've had a basic idea since day 1 what Nami being sent to a weather island, or Franky being sent to a futuristic lab would result in.
This chapter had the greatest cover in the history of One Piece
We had got their reactions on the war, on Luffy's newest stunt, and now what they did after hearing about the newest stunt. We'll probably be getting another round with how they will travel from the islands. Though I hope it's fast if so.
Brook's scene was legendary though.

My thought process since he's been captured by those guys is that, eventually he's going to bond with Scratchman due to their mutual connection with music and the long-arm tribe connection. Like the Lola/Nami thing will lead to something with Big Ma.
Oh, by that I meant being able to do 40 degrees.
Yep I too thought, hey this is more than a joke.
Maybe something to do with balance and swordmanship.
But I am glad he's going to try new musical stuff with a large public as guinea-pig.
he needs to figure out how to direct his music attacks at single targets

I think the whole cooking thing was just so unpredictable, I doubt anyone even came up with something slightly similiar to "power food". And Chopper, I think we were just all waiting for him to say something along those lines for a long long time now. Everyone else was expected and more or less predicted and at the same time we didn't get nearly as much inside info from everyone else like we did Sanji's. I bet when more details about it come up we might think "oh I see why Oda saved that surprise for later".
.
Oi! Do you think that we could get more "Alternative worlds coverstories" like this week's?
Alive Kuina Beating Zoro? Hirluk teaching Chopper to be a… not doctor? Robin going into archeological digs with her mother? Non Cyborg Franky being part of the Water 7 citty councel with tom and iceburg? Old Man/Partial inmortal Brook with laboon? Nami on the road to be a marine for her mother Bellemere? Ussop not having his family being split up? Sanji... being a spoiled brat and NOT obtaining Zeff's admiration?
Holy fuck, Greg's gotta new Avatar!
It's the baddest-ass man in the entire world.
That's not Omar Little, Greg.
Aint that the booty warrior?
so anyway, it's nice of Oda to show us what Sabo would've looked like had he grown up and not died.
People should be studied for not being able to connect the dots with that Dragon scene the day Sabo "died". How they think is mind boggling.
If you're not trollin.
i'm still not buying that it's Sabo, even if someone(s) we don't know was badly injured, you know after giant horrible fire that destroyed a trash mountain was mentioned. Mostly because it was a flashback, and he was a child in a flashback,he's someone the main character knew we haven't heard about/seen until the flashback , he was blown up. Four things proven to be super deadly in one piece.
Also, surely he could've gone back to Luffy's hometown, or sent a letter or something to alert his friends he wasn't dead. Sabo had YEARS and since i'm sure you're going by Ivankov's crazy healing powers on bringing him back on this, seems kind of silly.
So until Oda brings him back directly in the story and gives a reasonable explanation as to why he's alive he'll be dead to me just like a certain bird-man.

…
So then you agree he is alive.

no, just saying he'll be dead to me if me IS brought back from the dead with no proper explanation, I was also saying that I like to pretend Pell is dead.

It was specifically said it was the night of the day the world nobles came to the Goa Kingdom. Dragon brought someone that was injured. The fire on trash mt. was the day before. Why would anyone now be reacting to injuries from that event the next night?

When are explosions ever super deadly in One Piece? I missed the chaps where Mr. 5 was said to be the deadliest man in the world.
Also, surely he could've gone back to Luffy's hometown, or sent a letter or something to alert his friends he wasn't dead.
There's going to be a reason to explain all of that.
Sabo had YEARS and since i'm sure you're going by Ivankov's crazy healing powers on bringing him back on this, seems kind of silly.
I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about here. Why would wounds from an explosion require Iva to step in and heal Sabo?
So until Oda brings him back directly in the story and gives a reasonable explanation as to why he's alive he'll be dead to me just like a certain bird-man.
So you are one of those special cases that can't follow the story.
What bird man? If it's Pell I question if you really read this manga.
he says that Sabo will be dead to him, not actually dead.
Well if you are thinking that way, a fair part of the story might be ruined for you because the hinting of Sabo being alive are there and he will probably pop back up somewhere in the story and be an important character for a while. What are you going to do? Read and just ignore his existence? That's just idiotic.
Anyway, this is Oda and he will give an explanation. I believe his is alive and with dragon. He thus went to sea 7 years prior to Luffy or something under Dragon's wings so he might be an important/strong person within the revolutionaries. He might even be one of the commanders for that sake and if that is the case and he was on some important mission he could not even go and save Ace. One man dying is not nearly as important as saving the world. Also, the revolutionaries are probably working in secrecy and don't want the world to know who belong to them so if Sabo were to contact Luffy or Ace (when he was still alive), his cover might be blown. You see, if the WG has information about the persons within the revolutionary army, they could use this info to cripple them, like take families of them as hostages, enslaving entire islands were revolutionaries lived, . . . I see tons of good reasons why Sabo has not tried to make contact with Ace and Luffy

You got an explanation for Sabo already…read the chapters and try to understand them instead of lookng at the pretty squares if you want to do that theres another manga that is just perfect but i wont bring that up since the trolling will ensue.
If Sabo is still alive, the most important explanation for me is to know why he didn't show up to help his brother while he was executed. Oda should realy have a good explanation for this.
@Monkey:

I seriously hope it isn't an amnesia excuse.
Dragon didn't show up when his son joined the fray and nearly got killed.
It must be because of his amnesia.
I think Dr. Hiriluk is the one guy who has actually died in an explosion… and all those people from Ohara. oh, and that hippo guy from Buggy's crew. but other than that, nobody! Probably.

Sarcasm or not, I laughed.
@Sea:

Dragon has been a bad father since the beginning of One Piece, he never raised Luffy. But Sabo wasn't described as a bad brother, so I hope Oda has also a good explanation, because it's really impossible he didn't know Ace was going to be executed.
Luffy was there for like an hour, tops. How would he get there in time?
Plus if he showed up at Marineford, the 3 admirals, Sengoku and the rest of the marines would instantly try to kill him.
At Louge Town because he was checking up on him or something. I don't think he can move around instantaneously.
No one "good" has died in one piece for nothing.
The whole discussion over Sabo being alive is making me scratch my head quite a bit. It was a cover with both Ace and Sabo who are both… dead. Ace.... is dead we KNOW this, and heck even the cover shows him with his tattoo changed to correct spelling. We know that this picture is in no way a sense of "reality". I think its simply a play of Oda giving a "what-if".
Edited to Add: Dragon took MULTIPLE people for injuries, not just one. He didn't take just one, so making an assumption off that is far fetched

Ace is dead, I completely believe this. We saw a corpse. However, we never saw a corpse for Sabo, so I can't completely believe he's dead. This is what most people think…they won't completely believe he's dead until they see solid proof. The same way some still think Moria is alive.
I, too, think the chapter page was just for fun.

I agree with you on the fact there was no corpse for Sabo. I can definitely concede on that point. But Sabo and his personality in the flashback chapters just makes me think he would have made himself known to either Ace or Luffy at some point after that. There just seems no reason for him not to have made his presence known and Oda-san really does not seem like the type that would go "oops - amnesia". Although I could be completely and utterly wrong about that. Again just my opinion

What do you mean "still think"? What in the hell did you think that scene with Doflamingo was for anyway?

Sabo was with Dragon doing revolution stuff. Most likely to me.
@Sea:

That's what I think too, but I want to see what are those stuff that prevented him from saving Ace. That must be really important if he prefer doing this instead of helping his brother.

To a revolutionary, family issues are never the first priority.
Yeah, it's not an issue of "preferring" to do other things over helping Ace, it's more a matter of priorities, if he is indeed a revo to begin with.
Besides, Ace's execution and Capture were anounced 1 week before it happened, sabo must have been extremly close to marineford in order for him to even be able to do something.
@Zik:

no, it said that Dragon arrived at Zoro's town 'around lunch time' the day the world nobles arrived, so unless Dragon waited around for the most protected people in the world to show up before setting off, and then sailed his ship right in front of a town and just happened to see a seemingly dead body in the water and thought "oh, let's pick up that body and just double check it's dead" then i'm not seeing how they would've even gathered up sabo TO treat him
@Zik:

Hiruluk, buster call
@Zik:
I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about here. Why would wounds from an explosion require Iva to step in and heal Sabo?
cause it's not like Ivankov has ever healed someone back from a seemingly fatal state before (i'm talking about luffy)
@Zik:
What bird man? If it's Pell I question if you really read this manga.
Pell should've died from an explosion that would've killed everyone in a 5km radius that he took directly so I was just saying that if Sabo is brought back la-dee-da "oh I survived the cannonball to the face in a flashback" and that's it then i'll still think he should be dead.
also you acting super obnoxious in all your posts isn't helping your case at all, just making you look like an ass
Pell should've died from an explosion
Wrong. Creating drama with no plot purposes is bad story-telling. By they way, story-telling is the reason that makes so obvious Sabo being alive, anyone that seriously thinks he is death after all those chapter lacks reading skills.
@Del:
Wrong. Creating drama with no plot purposes is bad story-telling.
Wrong (In pell's case) He sacrificed himself for his country. it was a cheap copout that he survived his heroic sacrifice.
Sabo is alive. What other purpose would the Zoro Town scene would have if he didn't? We already knew that dragon was taking care of the people that he was shown rescuing the chapter of the fire.
