Chopper and Robin have never had such chapter titles.

I think with Chopper, Oda was trying to keep it ambiguous whether Vivi had joined or not. With Robin… it's sort of hard to define when she actually became part of the crew. Not when she snuck on board. Maybe when they rescued her, but by then she had already sacrificed herself for the crew's sake. It would have interrupted the flow and the ruined the suspense if she "officially" joined in the middle of EL. I'm sort of wondering if they'll ever get numbered chapters.

Maybe they'll get them upon their return to the crew, but I doubt it.

Shouldn't your real concern be if that was part of Aohige's translation? :ninja:

The only problem is, even though I'm still relatively new to these forums, I get the strongest impression that molokidan doesn't care enough to properly translate and has failed to do so for the longest time. It would be nice to have more confidence in the guy, but Aohige seems more reliable. I could see it making sense either way in this case though.

Yeah, I checked Aohige's translation already, but his translation says that the legend was passed down only in Balgimore.

But even though Molokidan isn't such a good translator, I'm struggling with the idea that he could just have invented the words "Grand Line" in the sentence if they weren't there, and that's the reason why I'm asking, because maybe the text was too blurry in the images from the spoiler thread from where Aohige translated, and because of that he missed it.

LOL that's what I get for skimming. I didn't realize you didn't ask about a legend on the island. FTR Aohige doesn't just seem more reliable, he is, but
all we need to do is wait for the raws to come out in a few days and then ask Ao-san then.

Aohige, or any other person who reads japanese here, can say what is right or wrong (if necessary we can even wait for a better RAW to have confirmation)... Or we can wait till Cnet release his translation of the chapter...

You're only kidding right? I personally loved your analysis of Arlong during his match. I don't think Sea really means that it's a bad thing. Not too long ago, I discovered a person called AGOG, but I didn't need to do more than glance to know that if I had to choose, I would much rather have you spend long paragraphs analyzing something while actually make good sense than a person who spends an equally (or greater as the case may be) long time writing utter bullshit.

Robin's chapter will probably happen when she gets some closure about Ohara or in some revolutionary arc. Based on this chapter she's close to fully trusting Luffy and the crew.. so it might be sooner than later. They might want to take some retribution on the WG soon so it might be that.. but I can see it being around when Robin takes a page from his dad and makes a major blow to the WG, maybe concerning getting some real truth out to the masses like why the Oharan genocide happened.

Chopper, I don't know. He just started on making major headway with his dream. I'm actually surprised they didn't have his numbered yet, I thought they did. His relationship with Luffy is kind of goofy and not serious. So they need a "Broment (I just made that up.. awesome)" Maybe something will happen so Luffy helps him realize his dream or maybe he protects a sick/injured group of people while TTC heals them or something. I think Chopper will eventually find a "Perfect" form with all the advantages of his 8 forms.. maybe having something to do with Life Return (Or maybe he teaches it to Luffy.. how sick would that be? LR almost seems like it's tailored for him.. that could factor into this too..)
So tl:dr, they save a bunch of people and connect, to wager a guess.

Robin with Dragon will be really interesting. I hope that she will tell the others were she was and with whom to see their reactions, especially Luffy's. And I hope that we will know some of the informations that she will gather.

I enjoyed this week's chapter. Can't wait to see how things pan out after the time skip. The tiger thing with Franky was hilarious. It also looks like Usopp is going to be using some plant based weapons which seem pretty cool.

If Oda does more "What-If"-cover pages, I'd like 2 see:
-Zorro still competing with not-dead adult Kuina.
-Nami, Nojiko and Bellemere planting mikans (with an older lookin Bellemere)
-Sanji running the Baratie with a 2-legged Zeff.
-Chopper studying medicine together with Hiluluk.
-Nico Robin reading archaology books with Olvia and Saul.
-Franky working on ships with old Tom-san (would be cool if we saw Franky these days without the cyborg-modifications!)
-An 88 year old, non-skeleton Brook with the Rumbar Pirates and La Boum.

Franky was most awesome in this chap and IMO Namis boobs became a little bigger AGAIN! Oda still let them increase and its good this way. I love her!:wub:

It'll be really interesting to see what a non-cyborg Franky and a 88 yo non-skeleton Brooke will look like.

I think u forgot Ussopp there, though i can't really think of what. Maybe Ussopp having a picnic with his parents (kinda interesting seeing how a non-pirate Yassopp will look like)

I do not think that at all. There is no way I can judge anyones appreciation for the series because I am not a reader of hearts. It's easy to judge someone by what and how they post but it's never a valid judgment. With that being said, I know a few people who were not as connected to the emotions of this chapter as I was, that doesn't make them any less of a reader, fan, follower, or anything for that matter, I respect them as they me.

Even with this appreciation, this chapter was satisfying but not necessarily exciting (it doesn't offer anything new to readers because of our prior knowledge)

For the longest time I can remember the different speculations of whats going to happen to the SH during the separation series. There were many interesting speculations floating around when we had very little info to go on. This chapter (as well as the previous one) provided the answers that were speculated on months ago. There is definitely new information that was given to us specifically each of the SHs decisions to stay and get stronger and by what means…so we know that Usopp IS going to get stronger and wants to get muscled up (which was an interesting speculation a while back) and so on and so forth...it is interesting to compare all of the crazy yet innovative ideas coming from the readers (some of which didn't like this chapter but are definitely OP fans) months ago about these past 2 chapters. I don't know about you but I enjoyed taking in the different speculations a while back....and now I can see which ones are closest to the truth.

I have no qualms with anything else you posted and in fact I generally agree.

about the 40 degrees thing and people not knowing how it could be of use. If you read the chapters, it seems even Brooke does not know, that is why he immediately says he has to find something else that is actually usefull. It was just a gag

It was to do with some shoes he either invented himself or had invented for him - either way he owned the patent to them.
They have inbuilt bracing that allows you to lean a lot more then you would ever be able to. Now the clip in smooth criminal to date I never bothered to confirm - but I think that was camera angles in conjunction with the shoes.

Who knows maybe the leaning will improve his Ankle muscles …. Which he doesn't have :blink:

Off topic but…

There is a special thing on the ground, and special shoes, like ski shoes. During a concert the area would go dark, while the dancers attach themselves, and then do the lean.

Franky did…. Oda already said that.... IF someone else did it then franky would have had his back done... Thats what makes franky such a beast.

I wonder if Kuma has some relation to Heracles. Probably not a friend ship based one if he knows he is on that island and hasn't rescued him yet, but was it the potential ammo and gear Usopp could potentialy get from the island or did Kuma specifically send him there because of Heracles? Everyone elses island seems pretty clear in that regard except for Usopps.
