Gecko Moria survived and spat at those who said that he'd die to hype Doflamingo up.
He overcame all the odds(Pacifistas and Doflamingo) and came through in the clutch(Survived).

Moria has two arms though. He didn't lose it to any weak Seakings that could be taken out by Luffy.

Well Moria may have two arms but Shanks accomplished more with one arm than Moria ever has with two. If only Moria had a more reliable crew like Beckman and Lucky Roo maybe he would have accomplished more. If only…
