No, it's not another apocalyptic, CGI-fueled movie. It's actually going to be here in about a week (the new year, that is).
2010 is coming to a close very soon, and this thread is for people to reflect on and discuss the year that passed and share their expectations for the new year to come.

2010 was too dramatic and heavy-handed, I hope its sequel has more action and explosions.
Nothing can top 2007. It had stylish direction and awesome scores.
2010 felt like a rehash of 2009 for me. Not bad, but nothing new either. Hopefully 2011 will be different.
I liked 2007 until the end when they killed off Ike Turner's character.
His plot with Tina could've easily been revived.

I'd give 2010 a 68% rating.
2008 and 2009 were the scariest for me. So many died, I was thrilled as fuck when I first watched them.
I hope 2011's new cast members will be better.
I thought the 2010 cast was pretty good. Sure, they were poorly written but that's the charm of it.
The writing staff seemed to focus only on a few couple of characters, leaving the rest undeveloped and poorly written.
So it's kind of like Glee, which has about three awesomely fantastic characters and the rest sucks.
I still need to review more of he music from this year (I've been putting it off for too long), but Xiu Xiu and Alcest are certainly up there.

Honestly the show kind of jumped the shark around 2000 when they made Bush the main character. It was completely unrealistic and the show never really recovered from that decision.

I kinda hyped 2010 in my head so it ended up being really disappointing. Plus, the first 2 months were the worst of my life. 2011 is gonna be a really good year since a new chapter of my life starts and it just can't get worse that this year.

2010 was meh. The ending was great because of the graduation and some other things with my friends, but overall it wasn't a good year.
I hope 2011 will be a good year.

Got my Graphic Design Degree.
Went to a lot of Concerts. And one Festival.
Decided to move.
Wanted to study Mode Design but were too late.
Worked 3 Months as a Salesgirl and had fun doing that.
Joined AP and haven't regret it yet. (At least not fully regreted :ninja:)
Joined another forum back in March.
Met a lot of new people. Some turned out to be assholes. That's life.
All in all. Lots of stuff happened. A lot changed this year. A lot was worse, a lot was best. An OK year.

I did not like 2010 all that much. All lot of drama, and way too many crappy events. People ruining things for everyone.
And I'm just referring to my life.
One of my resolutions was to pass College Algebra and apparently that didn't happen. Now financial aid isn't going to pay for it, and the cost of the class is even higher than I would ever want. Next year, I'm going to have to seek out a smarter approach. My plan is to do the rest of my classes, save it for last, save some money for for a private tutor, then save more money for that one class. Aside from all that, I failed to obtain a job as of yet.
2011 looks bright. I can see alot of tough love coming my way.
Overall the large amount of great things defeat the suckage of 2010, so it was a good year. I'm really looking forward to 2011 also, some major things should happen.

2010 is a terrible year. For me at least.
For now I shall come back to the shadow.
Aside from a few extremely nice moments, including joining AP and finding out what a great place full of wonderful people it really is, I will not be sorry to boot 2010 out the door, and I sure as heck hope 2011 is a whole lot better.

This year:
-I broke my leg
-My mom got arrested for a week and then released because they found evidence she didn't do it.
-My dog of 14 years died.
-We moved and all of my photos were lost in the move.
When I die I want to get shot out of a cannon. Scare the hell out of someone.
Meh, this year was alright. Had a relationship. It fell apart. But I did make several of the large ensembles at my school, and I pulled off a 3.8 GPA, when I thought I was gonna fail one class. Too much in one year, though.
