That was a really good read. Gives a lot of insight into the inner-workings of the Yakuza and their mentality. And their response sounds just about right: True for the most part, but with a few creative liberties to make the game more interesting and internationalized.

Very interesting read, and I'm glad they didn't get all mad because the game didn't follow the Yazuka lifestyle 100% :P

facepalms The stuff they removed is pointless mini-games, half of which you'd literally have to know the culture inside and out to get. Fanboys blew it out of proportion cauce fanboys love to bitch. The game still takes like over 60 hours to complete even without the removed junk.
Do you like Mahjong? Do you like Japanese pop-culture quizes? Do you like chatting up a hostess only to not get shit in return? Then importing is certainly the way to go for you.
