Hi i am new here and i would just like to say that this is only an idea for a fanfic due to my inability to be coherent when writing anything longer than a paragraph. I would be happy for anyone who likes this idea to use it as i will not i just thought it was a good idea.
My idea:
Pretty vague focusses mainly on one fight.
The strawhats come across an island in the grandline that every month holds a tournament (this months is in two days), after hearing stories of the wonder that is the prize of the tournement Luffy instinctually signs up the entire crew. Its a knock out tournement with a few locals and travellers mixed in, each round consists of 1 on 1 fights where the victor advances to take on the victor from another fight.
After a number of rounds Luffy gets paired against Robin, after he enters and finds he has to fight her he gets confused and seems a bit dissapointed as hes realised that Robins techniques don't work on his rubber body, however while this occurs Robin procedes to make little jokes at him to provoke an attack/ tells him not to hold back, Luffy throws his arm behind him winds back and as he goes to throw he shouts "gomu gomu no pist…" "seis fleur pistol!" Robin puches the air and in a split second six arms have grown from her fist and punch Luffy in the face sending his head in to the woodern surroundings and his punch off course. After luffy struggles free of the wooden wall he laughs a Robins technique calling it cool and then spins quickly in to a "gomu gomu no muchi" Robin using her "cien fleur wing" dodges and then replies to Luffy's move with the same manner as before and she quickly copies his ability spouting legs from her foot and kicking him out of the arena. (While Robin uses the copied whip Luffy fails to dodge as his eys have become stars and he is paralized saying "cooooooooooool"). Luffy is disqualified for leaving the ring and Robin advances.
After the tournement the crew go to collect the prize discovering it to be a solid gold trophy and a huge chest filled with gold Nami running past all the others at the sight of it, but before she can get there she is headed of by a group of villagers who all have weapons, when the crew ask what the problem is the villagers show the crews wanted posters saying there is no problem as all their eyes copy nami's previous expression and they chase the crew out to the shore where they board the sunny go and escape promtly with Nami crying all the way due to the lost money.
