Okay I think I got a wopper here. Okay, I got steam on my previous Dell computer and downloaded several games on it and it worked like a charm.
Come time to get a new computer, I download steam again along with the games that I had previously bought, only now the games don't work.
Now here is the wierd part, I bought a new game on steam and that one works. Does anybody have a clue how to help me?
I only use Steam to play FF11, so I haven't ran into this problem myself. Wish I could be of use.

If you haven't already try redownloading them all. If it's still not working try to verify the game cache. If that still doesn't work then go into your Steam folder and delete the file "clientregistry.blob". That's all I got so if those don't work I'm not sure what's wrong.
What do you mean they're "not working"? They don't launch, or do they get to the Valve logo, then close?

Take TF2, I click on TF2 and the start up prompt comes up, but then the prompt goes away then nothing happens. Then I get the ads that come up like if the game launched.
