I'm not talking about the season types, I mean more specifically.

For example, Whiskey Peak was a cactus based island.. Arabasta was a desert island.. Drum was a snow island.. Little Garden was a giant island.. you get the idea. They all had their themes.

I'd like to see a (Preferably fall) island that's kind of swamp-based. I think that would be pretty cool. Or perhaps a bamboo forest island, that would be neat also.

I thought this topic had endless possibilites, pretty much, so bring on the interesting ideas!

Hm…how about a ghetto island! J/K. :P Well, there's also the possibility of time period influence. Like Alabasta kind of reminded me of ancient Egypt, then there was a prehistoric island, Skypiea was...hmm, fantastical. Maybe something medievalish or feudal era Japan? That would be pretty opposite from Water 7 with all the technology.

Skypiea was part Native-American, part fairy tale, and Drum was Christmas-like, with the snow and reindeer and all. :)

How about something Down-Under like, with marsupial creatures? :D

I like the underground island idea. The image I'm getting in my head is similar to the background to the mine levels in Donkey Kong Country 2 (if anyone here has played that game.) For those who haven't it there's a bunch of crystals embedded in the walls, it looks really cool. The mine idea could work too, you can put a lot of backstory to something like that, and perhaps they could find someone with the strength to a helmsman in an island like that too. I mean, miners are pretty strong, right?

Yeah, I'm liking this idea. Even though I made up most of it myself. :blink:

Underwater Island
Ghost Island
Machine Island (not with Star Trek technology, but with Wild Wild West technology).

Well actually it would be a normal island that has changed as the result of an curse. It might be that after the Strawhats were there the curse is broken and the ghost and everything about them disappear and the island turns back to normal again.

Besides, there's I'm hoping for the Strawhats to get a priest there (who might be able to ban ghosts). ;)

My thoughts exactly. Besides Ghost (ships) and curses are an element that have been used pretty often in Pirate Stories (not just in Pirates of the Caribbean). It's not like it wouldn't fit with One Piece. :)

Dude, Ghost Island sounds awesome! OP needs a scary Transylvanian castle that'll freak Usopp out, and maybe a sexy gothic Vampire tenor singer from there with the cape and all. XD

I'm also toying with the idea of a Robot Island. Maybe they'll get an R2D2-like servant for the crew, making a certain cyborg feel rivaled (assuming that certain cyborg joins the crew).

Underground would be kind of cool. That would be the opposite of Skypiea. And that would be a place where they could get away from the public spotlight for a while. They're definatley going to need that pretty soon. :)
