I know some people haven't finished reading the Half-Blood Prince, but that doesn't mean I can't put it here. Even though I'm still reading it, it's my favorite.

the Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite of all the books.
for me they go kinda like this:
1 The Prisoner of Azkaban

4 The Half-Blood Prince
5 The Chamber of Secerets

I haven't read half-blood prince, but my favorite would be The Prisoner of Azkaban. God it was just addicting to read this book XD.

Prisoner of Azkaban was my favourite, with Goblet of Fire a close second. The others I don't really rank them, though least favourite might be Chamber of Secrets… that one just wasn't great for me.
Half-Blood Prince was better than Order of the Phoenix because the lack of Harry annoyingness. He was irritating in the OotP, mostly because he was like "why doesn't anyone ever tell me anything?! blah blah blah" but some things in HBP are kinda from left field, won't say anything because not everyone has read it.

In Order of the Phoenix, I hated Professor Umbridge to no freaking end! But, not as much as everyone who read the Half-Blood Prince will hate Snape.

I repressed Umbridge from my memory… XD I also wanted to slap her as much as I wanted to slap Harry in that book for being all whiney. Actually I wanted to slap her more. Wonder who they'll get to play her in the movie.

I liked HPB, mainly because of the dark plot. Azkaban was boring IMO.

I mean granted Ron and Harry pissed me off that whole book but I really liked it because it showed a darker side to the harry potter seires. To me It showed that it wasent all about waving wands and magic and grand adventures with your friends, it was about the nitty gritty stuff of war and hatred, I absoultly loved it.
P.S Snape Sucks I hope he gets his head bitten off by a hipogriff.

1: Order of The phoenix. I didn't mind "Grouchy Harry", and the book contains some of my favourite scenes.
2: Goblet of fire. Great action, and the gravyard scene = awesomeness.
3: Prisoner of Azkaban. Not a lot of action, but plenty of nice drama.
4: Half blood prince
5: Chamber of secrets
6: Philosophers stone. -

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone have more respect for Snape after reading HBP? I know I do, it proves that he's more than just a grumpy potions teacher.

Harry Potter gets darker and darker with every book. But, that didn't really start untill Chamber of Secerets: my third favorite. My second favorite one so far would probably be Prisoner of Azkaban.
Unlike Snow Yeti, whiney Harry in Order of the Phoenix didn't bother me alot. He was still annoying, though. But, that bitch Umbridge really did it for me. And Ron took Harry's place as the annoying character in Half-Blood Prince.

It seems I'm the only one who feels that HBP was wayyy to happy for it's own good… that in spite of the second War's breakout, the atmosphere was less tense than in the 2nd year. I mean, we hear of the odd Death-of-unimportant-character/ Dementor Attack, but It isn't very dark 'till the end, IMO.
