Earlier today, I tried turning on my TV with my remote. Nothing happened. So I thought the batteries must be dead and pressed the power button on the Tv. It works! But it's in GAME mode (I was watching DVDs the last time I used it). To turn off GAME mode, I have to use a remote because its impossible to turn it off from the TV itself. So I figure I'll just grab my other remote and switch it back to normal so I can watch some TV while I work on some projects.
….. nothing. Whaaaaaat? Are the batteries in this remote dead too? So I grab a remote from the living room which also registers for my TV since its from the same company and the same remote model. NOTHING! Now this one I KNOW has good batteries, because I'm able to mess with the TV in the living room.
I tried changing out batteries in my room remotes just to be sure, still nothing. I try unplugging my TV, leaving it unplugged for a while, and plugging it back in later. Still nothing!
So. Now I'm trying to figure out if it's a fixable problem. My TV isn't super old, I've had it since High School. It's also fairly special seeing as how my Grandmother who I was very close to helped me purchase it (it was my first personal tv btw)
So, if there's a chance of fixing it, I want to see if I can.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be/how to fix it? Thanks!
And BTW– I used to use that model cane. It's sooo last century.
