the way the forum is programed, it makes you type at least 16 characters to make a post. that way we don't get lame one word posts like
"yes"
Awesome"
"that's dumb"
etc. no one cares about one word answers, and we want to have a constructive conversation. Why is that awesome. Why is that dumb.anyways, some people want to post short replies anyways, so to get around this, they type what they need, then fill the rest of the 16 characters by typing something relevant like 16 characters of naruto sucks or something to that effect.
ya, so no one's gonna penalize you for doing so, but don't get carried away. try to keep the conversation going.

When posting on APForums, every post must have a maximum of 16 characters (individual letters/spacing/numbers).
So, if someone made a post like:
Yes.
They would be told that their post is not 16 characters long. So to make a post 16 characters long, and sometimes to be funny (sometimes failing at it), they post the extra characters to fulfill the minimum character requirement.

And what I mean about being funny, I mean like:
Yes.
(16 characters of do want)
Realistically, you shouldn't post such short posts because they are entirely pointless. But there are times when short posts are enough, and a (16 characters) is needed.
