I'm glad that other forums are now quivering in fear of the destruction we wreck upon feeble shit theories.
It proves we are the best english language OP forum.
It proves all the work has paid off and precious few fools dare keep posting.
We have risen the member quality and now our legend spreadeth. -

…why is there so much resentment towards others just because they have an opinion or theory they would like to share to other fellow one piece fans […] someone needs to explain to me why so many in here seem to despise and loathe this idea…
@Cable:
Wow, so it was true what people were saying about AP Forums. Immediately, if members don't like what you have to say, they just trash you. […] Anyways, I wanted to see first hand what members were complaining about so i made a topic i figured would be slightly annoying, thus "Perona will join".
This attitude is not at all unique to AP Forums. Among the anime/comic forums, however, AP might be unique in that we have a fair amount of people who actually know what they are talking about and as such reject "theories" that have absolutely no basis. I won't vouch for anyone's methods of rejecting such ideas, but the enmity for Perona theories isn't as simple as a difference of opinion. To quote Jerk Disease, "You say, this could happen. I say, this should happen and here's why." The insanely huge lack of anything to support a theory for Perona isn't even the main issue; it's the arrogance and confidence backing those Hail Mary arguments and the complete disregard for anything and everything to the contrary. Case in point, you are asking for an explanation for something that is not only obvious, but has also been explained countless times, all the while making yet another completely baseless theory and playing it off as 'obvious'.
@Zik:
If any of you "new" posters that aren't trolls want to know why Perona joining is a bad idea go read this entire thread and the last 2 versions of it.
As for everyone else– sorry Zik for using your post as an anchor-- don't encourage these guys. I know this thread can be circular and frustrating, but just opt out of discussion if you don't have anything productive to add; rather than locking the thread, we will just continue to thread ban, infract, and delete. You guys are giving them exactly what they want. Tsk, tsk.

In all seriousness, though.
Perona's fate hinges on her leaving the island with Zoro.
There's not much point discussing Perona's chances until that happens.Imo she has a 30%, 40% chance of leaving with Zoro for reasons that have been discussed a million times before.
What pisses some people off is when people here claim with absolute certainty that Perona has absolutely no chance at all of leaving that island with Zoro.
You can say she has very little chance of leaving the island if you want but anyone who claims sha has zero chance is just playing Nostradamus or kidding themselves into thinking they have insights into Oda's mind which I'm sorry but not even your darling Zephos has.

Put my money where my mouth was and voted Jinbei, though I'm pretty sure none are going to join.
-
It seems newbs are banned from voting..
Oh well. Just remember, there is at least one more Perona then the poll is showing.
-
I can't vote but I'll share my opinion.
It just seems too unlikely for Jinbei to join, he's an ally of Luffy now and I'd go as far as friend, but he just doesn't fit in with them.
Perona.. eh, she could be an asset and fits in okay and I'd say it's a coin toss for her chances.
Hancock, I didn't think she'd fit in at all at first but I sorta thought that because she seemed too high class with her royal outfit but in her dress and normal clothes, takes her down a level and it became more likely to me.
She's pretty crazy about Luffy so I don't see her letting him go off without her while knowing that two girls are on his ship. With quickly thrown together numbers, I'd say this.
Perona: 20%
Hancock:30%
Jinbei: 10%
New or yet to be met character: 40% -
Using similiarly thrown together numbers, here's my take:
Perona: 1% (You never know what Oda's planning)
Hancock: 1% (Same as with Perona)
Jinbei: 0,01% (More of a fatherfigure and an ally than a crew member)
Someone else: 97,99% (Someone from Fishman Island, probably) -

It is not that I have magic insight. Rather it takes little to no insight at all to comprehend her 0% chance of joining.
Furthermore, I posit that Oda has made no consideration of her in any sense. Whereas I'm sure he has to some degree understood that Hancock and particularly Jimbei have forseeable theories and statures that people will cling to in this argument, and may be slightly teasing and dropping red herrings to bolster that fog around his actual choice.
Oda has given Perona no more thought then Mr. 3.

Oda has given Perona no more thought then Mr. 3.I understand you do not like the character but I really feel that is incorrect. Looking at the character in TB and all the little jokes and traits she had, it seems like there was quite a bit of thought put into her. There are very few characters with as many quirks to them as she had.
-
-
Yes. Why? .
-
I like how Perona fans are still thinking Oda will tell us why she joined Moria crew. I mean, do you remember this girl:
!
There are very few characters with as many quirks to them as she had.
No, no, she probably has as many quirks as Miss Doublefinger.
-

Huh?.
Again ,I know dislike people the character but some of this is really putting your head in the sand over her.
As for Miss Goldenweek, the situation is different as she simply has not got as much attention as Perona has. She was'nt brought back into the story when she had no right to be in it anymore. It's not certain but it's likely we'll see her past. -

New poll?
Well, I'm still rooting for Hancock.
I think (and always have) that the biggest chance is that no one is going to join. But this is the thread about what current characters we think may join, and I'm Hancock all the way, so there goes my vote. Again.
I won't risk any theory about how it could happen, though. This timeskip turns everything into a tabula rasa and I have no idea of what will happen. Let's see what this "two years later" thing will bring us.
