I have watched the Enies Lobby arc and crying doesn't automatically mean you have a personality. The only part of the manga where she hasn't been one-dimensional was in the flashback during the Enies Lobby arc.

I don't think you understand one-dimensional…...
Sure she's quiet. But she has a personality. She enjoys books, loves history, enjoys watching other people be goofy but doesn't part take herself.
She loves spooky things and finds creepy things cute. (I.e. Cerberus). She'll do anything to survive but has calm, deep compassion for things she values. (Her past friends/family and the Shs)
Robin is one of the most misunderstood characters in one piece.
Just cause people don't run around and be ADD/loud doesn't mean they are void of personality.
Now go sit in a corner and reflect.

During the flashback there was variation in the emotions she conveyed, but unless there is a drastic change in her personality or she reverts back to how she was when she was younger IMO she has no personality. She is like this because of all the things that she has been through, but there has been barely, if any, change in her personality since she joined the Strawhats. Nobody is going to agree with this, but it is just my opinion.

I never understand why people throw around the terms "no personality" and "boring" around when they talk about One Piece characters. I think everyone's pretty awesome in their own way…
