@robbybedfart:
Wasn't that… always the case?
Again. You speak as if this were a startling new development.
It's shocking to see these "twists" become reality, though we've all been mentally prepared for them. It's like a dog constantly running from one side of a street to the opposite - you know the dog is going to eventually get hit by a car if it doesn't stop, but it doesn't stop. This twists are so stupid I couldn't possibly have imagined Kishimoto would stoop so low as to use them. Perhaps even more horrifying, since AP has a pretty good grasp of his psychology, I'd infer he probably finds everything he's done in the past 10 or so chapters "wicked cool".
I don't know how strong the Naruto hatred is within the fanbase itself, because mass bodies are still eating this stuff up across like globe like Twilight in the US.
Certainly though, one would have expected that with all the hate, all the fury, some kind of message would have trickled up to Kishimoto to stop with his inanity. Something.
Perhaps it's not a matter of Kubo or Kishimoto "not caring". Perhaps they care, but are simply stupid.
If Jump is involved with this it also gives me more ammo to shoot at billboards of Shueisha, too.
