I for one would love to see Orochimaru vs Jiraiya, although it was just hinted in that Jiraiya couldn't stop Oro leaving the village, it was never said how that happened. I'm not gonna see that probably but you know what I mean.

@Juju: I'm not entirely convinced Raikage even needs more than one arm, such is his awesomeness. I for one never said Gai wouldn't fight again, I actually wanted him to fight Gai again. Mainly because it's 2 of my fave characters fighting.

Unless Madara had other villages on his his side it would seem like a bit of a cop out. Having said that I am interested in seeing the capabilities of other villages aside from that of the Raikage, Sunakage and the Hokage.

Kakashi is the teacher of the two main characters, he probably has no goal to achieve, but at least he got a backstory, it's clear he is one of the most important character in the manga.

And Lee is the guy who didn't do anything since the end of part 1. Guy is only the mentor of someone who didn't do anything noteworthy since at least 20 volumes, how can he be an important characters?

Because he is fighting a freaking Akatsuki member. So far, whenever a character has fought an Akatsuki member, there have always be a theme (New generation overtaking older one, how can we achieve Peace?…) or a strong desire from the opponent (I must avenge my master, my clan...). Compared to all those fights, you can say this one was pointless.

Gai is the teacher of Lee and Neji. Gai isn't a main character, but he doesn't need to be to kill a member.

hmm Because Gai been at war with Kisame for a long time. Lee and Neji will fight in the war.

hmm How about protecting our damn village and others from getting killed.

Gai VS Kisame wasn't really a fight. It was more of a tussle. It lasted 2 chapters, and in shonen time that's like 3 minutes.

Gai,Neji, and Lee wasn't even their. Kishi left Gai out for a reason. Gai+ kakashi vs Devil pein would of been overkill. Pein is already not that fast and Gai stamina seems to be top notch while going Gates. He previously ran back to the leaf village with Kakashi on his back after going 6 gates like it was just a joke. Lee looked like someone beat him down after only going 5 gates.

Actually as much as I don't like Sasuke I don't want him to die UNLESS it is a heroic sacrifice. Vegeta after all got redemption and he murdered innocents. I'm not saying Sasuke murdered innocents because if you choose to be a ninja you accept that you might be killed in battle by another ninja. Point is he still deserves a shot at redemption.

Well I would have said that prior to me being an FF fan, which has happened in the past couple of weeks. Sephiroph does have some level of badassery though. Gay Sauce has little. Although as I have stated before it isn't the fact that Sasuke has killed, it's the way he was all emo about it. Be it pure villain or perhaps antihero: Grimmjow, Vegeta, Hisoka, Blackbeard, the list goes on have killed before. They aren't emo though.

No, I meant when a bad guy who either is rather attractive or outright looks like a girl, it it likely that certain fans when love them to death despite logic. Like Envy from FMA, who was a complete bastard, yet fangirls still loved it.

Aside from that, Sasuke and Vegeta are just too different to compare; it's apples an oranges. Vegeta has a Super God Superiority complex while Sasuke has a Superiority and Inferiority complex; when someone stronger than Vegeta showed up, Vegeta would aim to get stronger; when someone stronger than Sasuke showed up, Sasuke would pout and cry.

As much as I'd Sasuke to die, it won't ever happen. Kishi loves his cartoon love child too much to kill him off. He'll probably fake Sasuke's death, and have Sasuke pull a Rorouni Kenshin and wander the world trying to help people or some crap.

At least I think so. Naruto grew up with nothing in his life and was treated as an outcast. He knew loneliness better than anybody. From what I remember, Naruto only had Iruka, and that was a really good teacher-student relationship. Plus we don't know how long they we're "close". Just because Naruto doesn't complain about his shitty life doesn't mean it was worse.
