It IS doomed, but not because we lack 2 other one pieces, but because mankind is in two parallel roads to destruction.

@Shinuki:
All the 101 shikishis are available in high quality on Jump's website: http://www.shonenjump.com/j/50th-shikishi101/
I swear Kurumada always does this exact same Seiya portrait whenever he needs to do a commemorative drawing. It's almost like an extension of his signature by this point.
EDIT: 56. Nakaba! Didn't knew he worked on JUMP before… wonder if Nanatsu would have gotten to the point it is now if it was there or if it would have been canceled after 10 chapters.
Also, where is Takei??? I suppose this kills any hope I had of Yoh in future JUMP games.
-
Greg will surelly scold me for this, but the autograph Luffys are also very alike.
Besides Kenshin for obvious reasons, I don't like Boruto being in these things. Maybe if it was directly made by Kishimoto, or if it was a regular weekly series, I wouldn't care, but as it stands right now it's like a hanger on, rather than a full fledge member, made by a third party.
While Jojo (after part VII), Captain Tsubasa (after certain point), Kinikuman, Saint Seiya, etc had their spinoffs in other magazines, keeping the WSJ publication a little more simple.
-
Oh hey 84 Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger, that's got to be the first released drawing from him in over a year. Glad he's alive and can still hold a pen!
-
What's the problem with Kenshin? If it is about Watsuki's charges, then Shimabukuro shouldn't be there too. He was convicted in more serious charge.
-
It's all personal bias but:
-
It's fresher in my mind.
-
Shima at least did some time, while Watsuki got trhough with a fine
-
Shima affected directly 2-3 15+ year old girls, while Watsuki affected indirectly a few GB of ~11 years old.
-
It's also the feeling of betrayal, when I learned about Shima I knew he was a pervert, and didn't fell back all this time, while Watsuki was someone that had my respect and broke it.
If I could remove watsuki but I had to sacrifice Shimabukuro as well, so be it.

It seems like the breakup was less civil than expected. He's not there nor in the main page.

I've been kind of stuck thinking about the 50th aniversary stuff, and either remembered or found out again about the thematic dishes that have been served in the event,
The pre 90's stuff got burgers:
http://thesun-themoon.com/sun/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/JUMP-A4CHIRASHI-02.jpgThe 90's stuff got these:
https://collabo-cafe.com/events/collabo/jump-90s-cafe-in-jumpten/And the stuff from 00's (actually after One Piece) to now got these:
https://shonenjump-ten.com/vol3/cafe.html (this is the shakiest link, as is the main site of the event, and it deleted the past menues when they stoped being relevant)Main site of the restaurant
http://thesun-themoon.com/sun/news/The event site, I'm sure kaizou 10, Sandman, Redon or someone else already provided it before, but just to keep it fresh:
-
-
That's pretty cool. I wish I knew what some of those dishes were. The Gintama one looks super gross lol. Also seems weird there's no Shuokgeki.
-
The weirdest exclusion is JoJo's, soma you can make the argument of the last era of jump is a little full with smaller hits, or that the menu changes around and we will see more later because era 2 had like the triple of meal dishes (as in not deserts or drinks) than just the three there.

Act-Age also isn't going anywhere for a time. Finally Souma getting a new color page and Bokutachi dropped a lot.

Yah, yesterday I was checking the viability of the series, with Noah as a cushion, the end of RobotxLaserbeam and Ziga, and <shogi manga="">and <pervert digimon="" alien="" manga="">being there, and Act Age cracking the top 50 sales chart, <finger eating="" demon="" dude="" manga="">and Act Age will survive until next culling.

Interesting that Shima implies here that Toriko is becoming a father post-series.

does anybody knows why Shonen Jump raws are not coming out to the internet anymore?
Maybe because people don't want to get arrested
-
Well if people don't want to get arrested so why every other Shueisha magazine and every other publisher magazine is being normally posted online? The raw of basically every Jump chapter is released online days before the official release, so how is so hard to release the digital version only for SJ? it's really annoying kkkkk
Yes, a new OS by Amano, looking forward for it. Good covers too.
-
@Shinuki:

Well, maybe because Shounen Jump is most popular magazines out there, so it is most likely be a primary target for the cops.

It looks like Japanese publishers (including Shueisha) are moving another step to stop the piracy. https://shuppankoho.jp/damage/index.html
-
Yeah? In what way?
-
Damn it, I need them to wait until gintama ends, then they can nuke piracy.
-
-
Damn it, I need them to wait until gintama ends, then they can nuke piracy.
Completely agree. Just wait for a few months, until it ends for good. Then we can move on to a pirate-free world nice and clean (assuming I can access a bunch of other series by official means).
-
I can pay through a proxy and PayPal the wsj subscription. I might get roped into continuing with seven deadly sins and attack on titan on crunchyroll.
Only true losses would be the backlog, JoJo and gintama.
-
Luffy in front of a "STOP! PIRACY!" text. I think I am drowning on the many layers of unintentional irony.
-
Jump's mascot is also a pirate. So even if the mascots went to fight..
In japanesse I guess that copyright infringment and piracy are just two different words. As it should.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Like if in 200 years from now, they started to call "Suicide bombing" to Idunno, some weird futuristic crime, like creation of fake news, or using bots to do weird things with the prices of stocks for chaos or proffit.
-
I suppose 'robinhooding' would give it a connotation they want to avoid…
Btw, they also used "piracy" in japanese (pirate -> 海賊 / piracy (as in copyright infringement) -> 海賊版).

It's the last ranking of the month and vol 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen still performing very good, is on 106º in the top 500 above Dr. Stone, Yuuna, Bokuben, RxL and Act-Age that isn't even in the ranking anymore, not to mention the digital sales that must be very good too.
Seeing how slow Dr. Stone is increasing, i wouldn't be surprised if Jujutsu Kaisen quickly start to beat the manga in sales, it really looks like Jump got a new hit.
