I wanted to say something else that is not next-to-last.
-
Well the first chapters were not really revolutionary.

Teaser for Kuroko no Basket Last Game (upcoming anime movie):
-
The first chapter of jump sqaure’s new serie Black Torch has been scanlated. Nothing revolutionary on this side either. The setting is a bit to fast for my taste too.
-
It looks like Okamoto Lynn (author of Elfen Lied and Gokukoku no Brynhildr) going to start new series (don't know which magazine, though).
-
Where was tokidoki originally published? This week eWSJ nisekoi author's one shot.

Poor Golazo. But this is the ranking of the first chapter. Maybe it did a little better later on…
Looks like jump is testing even more one shots to see what will stick
-

Those aren't one shots.
-
@Kaizou:
Those aren't one shots.
My bad. Meant series.
-
WTF!!!!! six new series??? Boichi? Tamura? Fujimaki? the writer of Eyeshield 21? O_O Shonen Jump will cancel half of the magazine? kkkkkk
-

This is how to start a revolution in magazine.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
It looks like Fujimaki's new series possibly going to be a golf manga.
-
Woah!!! I remember Fujimaki talking about wanting to make a golf manga before. Great.
-
Huh, new series from successful mangakaa instead of rookies. eWSJ was particularly thin this week, with nisekoi bleach and toriko gone and one piece and world trigger (and you know who) on breaks or hiatus, it was only 4 series, it is important that a few of these stick.
It seemed like they were gearing up to put haikyuu in the magazine, but nothing yet.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I wonder where are they putting 6 new series.
-
6 new series in one round? Has that ever been done before?
Normally it will be 2 or 3 each round. -
it's strange to have Boichi draw a shonen. But doesn't he already have a weekly serialization at the moment ?
6 new series is indeed unusual, but they have 4 to cancel and 2 in hiatus. Did we had the oneshat for Tamura's one -
If they kill gintama in this round… I'll ineffectively cry, and eat crow of every "bleach and toriko were rigth to end".
It is too close to a perfect ending for them to end it before the full parade.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Is almost two volumes away from it ending properly, maybe 3, but if they are pushing to end it, that decision has already been made.
-
Gintama can't end right now. It wouldn't feel right. Like you said, it's slowly moving towards a proper ending.
If they force it now, I would be really disappointed.
-
With the latest chapter, Sesuji is pretty much heading towards it ending. It was fun while it lasted.
-
If that is so, then, golazo, amalgam, demons plan and spring weapon, plus {the dance manga] is still only five. Yuna was well received? How has samon been lately? Is it posible that they allow promised Neverland to go a JoJo route and change settings once this part of the plot warps up? I guess that's unprecedented by such a young series. Could it end even while doing this good?
Can't parse the data rigth now to see if there ever was a 6 series batch. And most 4-batchs have like 4 issues in between.

You forgot that there is two open space made by Red Sprite and World Trigger. So, most likely only 4 series going to end. My guess is Sesuji, Amalgam, Demon's Plan, and Ole Golazo.

True, I counted 18 series this morning, but I can't remember if I counted burrito (Boruto).

Boruto doesn't really count to make a open space.

Do you think Number One will stay ?
Anyway I'm very happy by Kimetsu no yaiba rankings lately. Let's hope its sales will raise as well.
-
Do you think Number One will stay ?
Well, Spring Weapon ranked highest among the bottom dwellers, and it even got a CP. So, I think at least it'll get extra chance.
-
Yuragi have to stay, damnit!
-
Gintama has to stay, I'd sacrifice every series except one piece for a proper ending.
-
It will probably be DP , Setsuji, Ole Golazo and Amalgam that go.
-
By the way, since there are 6 new series confirming to enter, does it means Hunter and WT are far from coming back or something?
-
they still have not replaced Red sprite
Demon's Plan, Ole Golazo, Amalgam, Spring Weapon are born dead
Dancing manga is probably ending soon toothere are your 6

You forgot about World Trigger.
-
Yah, I was going crazy earlier.
-
On one hand I'm excited to read these new manga (especially the last 3 by authors who wrote mangas I loved).
On the other hand, having that many new manga start now most likely means that World Trigger isn't coming back anytime soon and I'm starting to really worry about Ashihara's health .
Anyway, it's interesting that they're starting with the 3 rookies. That seems like a smart decision to me.
I can't wait to read the first 3 chapters on ESJ (I wonder which one(s) will be translated by CCC). IMO, it's likely that at least 2 of them will be picked.

Big news on Friday, my guess is that they are adding a few of the free series of their sites, like haikyu or astra, next to some of the six getting free pass directly out of JumpStart?

There was a 6 round of new series back in 1981.
Issue 29,30,31,32,33,34,. (None made it to the 1 year mark.)Gal ga Rival and Aozora Fishing were the ones that lasted the longest.
