This might have been pointed out ages ago, but it was something I noticed for the first time yesterday when I was rewatching the Alabasta arc.
You know how Mr. 2 likes swans? Well, it never occurred to me that swans have a "2" shape. Cute use of symbols, Oda. 
Oh, that I never noticed that before! It's like Mr.3 has a '3' for his hair and Mr. 9 has those markings on his faceā¦. Do all the BW have these things and I just never noticed?

Mr 11 looks like a guy from some kind of movieā¦ I forgot the name, anyway he got eleven marks in his face. And Mr4 has also a marking (look at his shirt)
Mr. 7's eyebrows are shaped as 7's, as well as his nose. It actually makes him look a bit like a painting from a card. O_o Mr. 4 has the whole "4-batter concept" as his marking. I'm pretty sure there was a "four" on his bat as well.
What about Mr. 1? Does that kanji on his chest mean "1" or what? 'Cause if it doesn't, I fail to see where in the hell his marking is supposed to be.
then what's Igaram's? i always thought it was his hair that made eights, but now that i look again, not really.
And yes, Mr. 1's mark on his chest is an archaic way of writing one.
If you take a close lookā¦ yeah, most would count his hair as three sidewards "eights", but his head kinda ruins that. But take a closer look at his tie...

Yeah, I know that. The swan, both the thing he wore on the back and on the shoe, curved and that make the 2. The one I didn't notice number code at all were Crocodile(probably he didn't have it) and Mr. 1(I can't read his marking on the chest. Didn't really study any kanji yet).

I also don't believe that Crocodile had any "0" sign on him. But I think that's because if his Shichibukai status, actually. And why would the BOSS have to abide by the same small "rules" as the rest of the crew? At least that's MY logic.
And yeah, Miss Merrychristmas had the tie. And Mr. 2 didn't only have the swans, but was also Miss Bonkure, as Oda explained in an SBS once. He's based of a holiday where women dress insanely flashy.
Miss Doublefinger's ONLY actual sign of her theme "New Year" is pretty much the attack "Stinger Finger". But that's about it.
Miss Valentine I can't find anything with. :< Or Miss Goldenweek for that matter.
I always found in intestering that Miss Valentine, named after the day which hearts are light with love or heavy with loneiness, could control her weight to be heavy or light.
