He just needs a partner or a good editor to fix his stories. Not even drastic changes need to be made. I honestly think he doesn't really have a fully thought out plan for the story let alone individual arcs.

So, word on the street is, Mashima has visited NYCC. He has worked for 19 hours a day before it to give himself some time for this trip and not miss a chapter. He sure is in love with his work and but how comes he writes such horrible manga.

Man, it is getting harder and harder to forgive Fairy Tail with each passing chapter. Before, I could enjoy it as a "turn your brain off" sort of manga that was mildly entertaining, but this…is getting unbearable.

They obviously know it exists. They just choose to not acknowledge it.
Flaunting it only results in problems though - it has before.
Especially considering how seriously all the publishing companies have grown to take this sort of thing (with the coalition they formed thanks to the incident Megadoomer mentioned above – thanks Mangastream), even if it only results in a couple of scan sites being closed down on our end, it's unwise to flaunt that it hasn't made that much of an impact at all here. Their ignorance of our situation only helps us. The actions of english fans has had a DIRECT IMPACT on how Japanese publishing companies have decided to handle big online reading sites.
Because if they get really serious, they'll start going after raw providers again in earnest.

Anyways, I read alot of people here saying we should dial down the hate. Well, I honestly would be content to just make fun of the series, for example in how it was treating GH, and Hades especialy, but then there's the stuff like this. A timeskip foreshadowed in the most out of place way, that in the end amounts to two chapters and Romeo having fuck all to do with the story.
And the whole "Tenrou island, it's destruction inevitabely came".
You know I just hate it when Mashima outright lies to achieve a cliffhanger. Like when he had Leo say he killed his owner with his bare hands.

So I was wondering,if we merged the two worst mangas out there right now, ((narufelch)) Could it be possible to merge two awesome and amazing mangas together? And talk about how awesome they are? I mean, it sure would "dial down the hate", am I right? but I'm sure you'e thinking " The problem some people like certain manga more then others and may not want them to be merged. Well, I'm sure not everyone was happy with he Faliruto and Filth merging. so it couldn't be as bad.

ANYWAYS. I don't even look forward to fairy tail anymore. but I will say this, Bakuman hit the nail on the head this chapter about why Mashima is so popular.

I would assume that Mavis sealed him away on the island, Fairy Tails supposed to have been around for a long time.

Yes I know but I remember something about them being dragonslayers (a really old magic) and that is why they couldn't pass that barrier.

I was thinking that too, but.. we'd have to see Hiro explian the how Dragon-slayers are able to obtain their magics, or what kind of training they did. I doubt they are really old since they have been shown to age normally.

made me laugh so much I don't even care anymore.The "a timeskip that's not a timeskip" got me laughing so hard. with it's Bakuman influence you can't help but appreciate the trolling. I think this chap elevated Mashima and Fairy Tail to be merged with the Naruto and Bleach thread.

I forgot all about that. Anyone remember the exact chapter that happened? Damnit why can't he just go into the mystery of the dragons? That's one of the most interesting parts of the story.

We do know the other dragons besides Acnologia are still around, just in a very remote part of the world dealing with a crisis. We saw Grandeeney meeting with Igneel just after the TOP incident, where Grandeeney told Igneel that Natsu would meet up with Wendy soon. So, the dragons still exist and are aware of current events, it seems.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Okay, I know I'm going to be mocked and ridiculed for this, but can we have two threads here? For those who just want to troll and post crap, can you add FT to the Bleach/Naruto thread? For those who actually want to discuss the series, just keep it in this thread. As bad as you think there is, there are still people who want to discuss series and not just post the general 4chan garbage that plagues most of the internet.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.
