No, Lisanna's Take Over Magic is Animal Soul. She can turn into various types of animals. So far, she's been shown turning into a Fish and a Chicken, and a Rabbit in the Anime.

Before you ask, Elfman can't become a demon either. His magic is Beast Soul, meaning he turns into Beast-like creatures.

Plus , plot dictates he must advance for Hiro to focus on in the next rounds .

You forgot the order of the arc, the first fight natsu has is undetermined, he can either win, lose or tie. I don't think he'll win through brute force if anything gildartz will let him pass admiring him of his courage or something like that.

You were thinking of the big bad fight. That's where natsu get's his one time only power up.

I would actually be perfectly fine with Gajeel as the main hero and Levy as the main heroine. And I guess Cana could be the new Grey and Erza will just stay as usual. And Elfman and Mirajane would get more screentime. I don't mind Lisanna, but she is yet to prove herself.

Nahh, its now obvious that the main chara will lose against Gildartz. Such a powerful opponent Natsu cant defeat..or does Gildartz somehow accept that Natsu got freaking strong and so is allowed to go to the next round.

(Actually iam wondering if even one S-rank mage is able to hold back one team)

I wonder if it's just me but I recently marathon'd the anime and I found it to be significantly more enjoyable than the manga. I wasn't even really bothered by any of the deus ex machina either. Still, could just be me.

Well, the music and the voice acting really help. I would argue if the entire series so far was the quality of the first 10 episodes, but the Laxus arc was handled beautifully in the anime and I have high hopes for the next season. I may even enjoy Nirvana…

Nirvana arc will>>>>>Nirvana in the manga simply because they have been foreshadowing the hell out of it.
They might even fix some of Mashima's inconsistencies

I feel exactly the same way.

Although certain things do seem more awesome in the manga (Natsu's finishing blow to Laxus), the anime is by far superior to the manga in terms of being enjoyable.

They should re-animate the first arc, it's still painfull to watch but hell at least the better arcs got better treatment. Honestly i'm looking forward to dues ex machina arc animated

I have a feeling we'll get a small filler arc or something before they go into Nirvana. Maybe like 4-5 episodes or something. They claim they will be spending the entire year on the Nirvana arc. Even if they drag some stuff out and add in fights, they will still need other material if they want to keep from going into Edoras. Hopefully any filler we get will feature Gajeel, Levy, Mirajane and Elfman. And maybe the Raijin Trio if we're lucky.

Speaking of the anime handling Mashima's inconsistencies, Nirvana only has six legs in the opening, so that's a start. And I doubt we'll see Wendy's hair switching between blue and purple, either.

I just hope they tie the Oracion Seis members into the Tower of Paradise in the story itself unlike what Mashima did. There's no point in not doing so since they already showed up in Erza's flashback, and hey, might give them some actual character and motives, however slight they may be..

I actually like this new opening, though it spoils too much (Brain and Midnight's magic, Gerard being revived). The song is kinda catchy, though not the greatest.

No spoilers out yet, but I have an idea about how Natsu will beat Gildarts without Gildarts letting him win or some cheap gimmick.

Actually two ideas:

1. The E stands for Eastern route, which means it's Mira Jane. One Natsu figures out it's an illusion, MiraJane will probably let him pass.

2. The E stands for Earthquake, meaning that the area Natsu and Gildarts are in is unstable ground. Magic that destroys things + Bad Structural integrity = giant pitfalls. That said, Gildarts could accidentally cause a cave in and fall into a hole, and Natsu would simply have to use Happy to fly up and away onto the next challenge.

They aren't that bad and Bleach Openings stopped being good after the Soul Society arc.

Yeah, Fairy Tail openings and endings are overall very good. I don't necessarily like how they organized them in airing, but oh well. Hopefully they won't do that anymore in season 2.

Yeah, he did. It actually has something to do with some japanese custom, but I don't know which one it is or what for.

Gazille is my favorite character. I want to see what he did when he took that mission to teach children magic while he was all beat up and bleeding.

Fairy Tail has some pretty good openings.

The endings for the most part are good too. Except for the first one… It was too cutesy. And since they always play a bit of the beginning right before the actual episode ends, it made some of the dramatic endings lose their impact.

New Chapter is pretty good. I kinda expected Mira Jane's trial to be an illusion one, but it looks like it's going to be an all out brawl as well (And that's gonna be nasty; she beat the holy living crap out of Fried back in the Fighting Festival Arc). Looks like Erza's giving Juvia and Lisanna a run for their money, too.

As for Natsu vs. Gildarts, it's a fight of real men. What happened at the end is a little bizarre, but it should be interesting to see how it goes.

Also, it looks like Wendy and Mest got a free ride this round. Boo. I wanted to see what Mest's abilities were, but it looks like we'll have to wait.

! We got Mest and Wendy, Gazille and Levi, Gray and Loki. Any one of them can get a pass, but we'll most likely see Mest and Wendy advance due to plot. And as far as shonen main character goes, Gray has that over Gazille, so if those two met then Gray would advance.
