I'm dedicated creator of doodles, sketches and old school simple lineart. I mostly use pen or pencil, often what gets on the paper stays on the paper.
Making fanart of One Piece is really fun and challenging, I love Odas use of movement, perspective and facial expressions. I can learn a lot from him :3
Btw, I would never trace, because that's not challenging
I would love to be able to use colours on my drawings as well, up until now no overwhelming result.

Thank you folks! It is first time I show any of my OP art online (some of them are over a year old) so it's so nice you like them.

I just finnished one with colours!! This is very rare, but even more rare is that it has a background. Thank you Puffin for the suggestion :happy:
What else to say…well, it's far for perfect and i already spotted some faults :3 Anyway, like the motive and Usopp deserves some more credit. It actually took me a while to figure out Going Merry, the manga was a bit 'shady' on that one. Also, as I mentioned before, my colour skills are a bit rusty, I actually tend to mess things up really hard, and eventually destroy the drawing. But colours are fun, even though they are still a bit dull in this one.

I really like the Zeff and agree with Chrissie - nice style. Ussop is looking good, colors haven't "destroyed" the picture so far.

Thanks Joel It's fun, I really tried to 'copy' Odas style, but still you like 'my' style…maybe one cannot hide ones own identity after all? It's actually really great though, having a signature style is probably one of the best things about being an artist.
Phew, good, my colouring didn't blow it all.

Ohmi…I have a few art projects laying around, so thought I'd share some of the ideas with you after the long silence :3

First of all I have a fairly big appartment for 3 months which needs some wall coverage, and I thought a big-screen OP artwork in the livingroom would be perfect. So, I'm going for a whole crew, something like 1x1 meter format and acryl/oil colours. Should be interesting. I'll start on it next month.

Second idea was brought to life today in my local food market where they had some crappy sets of doll-house furniture for sale. See, thing is the sets all appealed to someone from the crew, so got this idea of making 1:12 scale dolls of the SH and put up some 'scenarios' with a 3 wall background and take pictures of it...kind of like you see in magazins (maybe this is also just to be able to hand sew some clothes, since my sewing machine is broken and I can't make costumes for meself). Not sure when this project will start or end though, I'll most likely make a few doll tests soon.

What do you think? Any suggestions for scenarios or such? (haha, it will become the 'fans cover-story wishes of Morgan')
