I'm actually rather looking forward to this episode. I've really enjoyed the coverstories being fleshed out. Yeah, I loved the war arc and am enjoying this current flashback, but I really miss the Strawhats and the humour they can bring. Its been far far to long since we've seen them. So I'm expecting a Zoro getting lost and at least two skull jokes from Brook

Probably wishful thinking. The lead-in to the flashbacks will probably be brand-new footage, but that's probably it. At least they seem to be covering plot-relevant material.

Ha, Jimbei and Crocodile almost did rumble after all! That moment would've been more effective if Luffy had said something that was actually relevant instead of being his own broken record, because those two stopping their fight because Luffy's going to say something important and then he doesn't just looked weird.

Anyway, Perona's as annoying as ever. Zoro's part was, well, okay. I got a laugh out of his misdirection warping time and space, and we learned that the people on the island are feral, but that's it. I was kind of surprised when Zoro actually showed concern over how the others are doing, since no one else really did beyond acknowledging that they simply weren't there.

Brook's half didn't really have anything new to it. Not terribly exciting.

Ok, so i guess it's not just one person attacking Zoro, but a whole "monkey" tribe… i can see an easy solution to this battle in using Perona's Negative Hollow's to take out the multiple enemies. Brook's part was meh, but i was very happy that his skull jokes were dramatically reduced. Was waiting for Ivankov to stop Croc midway, but that didn't happen, after seeing all this, I kinda want Perona to be with Zoro when he gets to Shabondy. A majority of people on this forum don't like her voice but i don't mind, i like how high she can go with that voice.

Really? I thought the art and animation was actually better than usual most of the time, but eh.

Pretty good episode. I really like these "coverstory" episodes (in quotes since they don't show exactly what happened on the coverstories), and this one was no exception.

Next week looks somewhat boring, though not as much as I was expecting based on the preview.

I didn't like this episode. Brooke's part had pretty much nothing, Zoro's was alright. Croc and Jimbei were stopped for no reason.

This is no different: bad filler is BAD, no matter how you cut it. We would've been much better served if they animated the Enel/CP9 cover stories - it's very hard to disagree with that.

Aw jeez! I F-ING HATE RECAP EPISODES! They are seriously just THE most annoying kind of filler episodes on the face of the planet! Anybody who wanted to see old info can just go back and find the episodes and watch 'em themselves.

Brook's coverstory as a whole never reallly appealed to me, and this episode did a great job of maintaining that.

Zoro's was interesting and funny. I'm expecting big things to come from the monkey people.

I think that makes sense, since Zoro was the first one to disappear…anything could have happened to the others.

Anyway...Brook's part was ok, but i found Zoro and Perona's interaction to be pretty hilarious. I wonder what could he do against an army, since even one of those guys was enough to stop him..

If they do that then we would have a shot of Luffy breaking down crying and skip to him when the flashback is over? I find this odd because basically they would have caught up with manga already and the flashback is not over yet.

The Zoro part was terrible. Nothing happened until the very end. Perona got sick of Zoro getting lost all the time and that pretty much sums up my feeling about the whole part. Brook's part was much better and actually seemed to have a script written for it unlike Zoro's part.

Preview definitely seems to show some stuff from the recent flashback, though it wouldn't surprise me if they just made some stuff up that happens to be very similar. In any case I doubt they'll show him yet. This is about Luffy and Ace. At least it's not just old footage from Alabasta.
