No contest, there's really no way that Crocus, who is such an incredible character, could lose to someone like Joz– it'd be incredible to even see...

It's because Joz has the misfortune of being up against Crocus. Crocus is awesome with his running gag, his friendship with the Rumbar Pirates, and being an important reason why Roger was able to live long enough to become the Pirate King. If it wasn't for Crocus, the Great Pirate Age might not have happened.

Well Crocus fought in the Battle of Ed War against Shiki and his fleet. Not to mention the fights between the Jolly Roger Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates. Crocus has seen his fair share of great battles too.
