Even if this match took place before ID, i would still vote for Mr. 3.
I find it sad that most of you only like Mr. 3 after ID and the War, since he has always been a great villain, ever since Little Garden. Little Garden is my favourite arc because of him and Goldenweek.

I don't think Mr 3 would have passed the prelims if he didn't come back in ID. Villains have a lot of haters around here.

but in the litlle garden arc i kinda hated him..

Mr 3 is a bit….pathetic...he got knocked out by Luffy's haki... but still... he did play a valuable role in Impel Down and even in the war in freeing Ace...and then Marco...

In a way, Mr. 3 was the most awesome of them all. Sure, most of the time he just bumbled around with Buggy, doing nothing. But he was the one who helped Luffy fight Magellan at the end, he was the one who was the perfect match-up against Magellan, as Luffy was against Enel.

I've gotta go with Mr. 3 on this one. Both are semi-reformed villains that helped out our heroes, but really, Mr. 3 helped free Ace because Bon-chan wanted Luffy to succeed.

Did you actually red/watch the confrontation between Magellan and Luffy/Mr. 3? Galdino has nothing at his disposal to stop Magellan's Kinjite poison. Not to mention his inferiority in physical strenght. He definitely doesn't have what it takes to stand his own against Magellan if the latter goes all out (otherwise Luffy wouldn't have chosen to run away).

If I would have to take a guess I'd say everybody that can cancel out logia powers (in other words Ambition users). And most definitely Teach if he actually tries.
Also Magellan would be a fool to use anything but Kinjite against Mr. 3 if it's evident that the wax blocks the Hydra poison. Speaking of poison, I don't see the wax powers being of much help against the poison cloud either.
