That's funny how much all that flashback remind me the "Piccolo/Gohan training in mountains".
Even mountains bandit have a turban like Piccolo.
So it won't seem to me strange if Dadan finally do some sacrifices for the kids. -
Dunno about the flashback being over. It's been interesting and sweet but it hasn't really justified itself yet. Maybe it can turn itself around next chapter but in my opinion, so far there hasn't been a "Holy fuck, this flashback was essential moment!!!" Just good old world expansion and character development. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but given it's Oda, I was expecting more.

It looks really good but I cant read the japanese to figure out what it is.
Im guessing everyone noticed kuma on dragons boat btw. I usually don't pick up these kinda things but its amazing how much easier it is to spot when you have the actual paper in your hands.
Reading jumpo is great all the manga look different, I even got an interest for the basketball and volleyball mangas even though I have never checked out sport mangas before

To my knowledge, the actual chapter released this week in Japan was released already, on monday and this topic is about it.
So I think it is kinda obvious that when they say that there WILL be a chapter this week they can't be talking about something that already happened, so of course they are talking about the scanlations' release dates.
You just need to pay attention to what you read, and use your head a little, and you will understand what the people are saying, and then you can interpret it the way you like to think:
If you are considering the scanlations' release dates, then they are saying that there will be a chapter this week, and that there will be a break on next week.
And if you are considering the Japanese release dates, then they are saying that there will be a chapter next week, and that there will be a break on the week after the next.
Besides you can just use the use the numbers of the WSJ issues as base to do the math, the issue 27 was released already in both versions, scanlation and magazine on Japan, and the next release to both is the issue 28 where everybody is clearly saying that there will be a chapter, and after that comes the issue 29 where they said that there will be a break in OP…

Dadan (most likely). iirc, she first showed up somewhat in Garp's Ace flashback and then competely in the current one. Although she was referenced previous to that too (but then again, so was Akainu).

The rest of the Dadan family pirates (assumingly)Actually, unless something catastrophic happens soon, this current flashback will be pretty atypical in terms of character intros. Which just further convinces me that Oda is using Luffy's flashback to concurrently build up Luffy's past and the series' mythos for the next arc.
Dadan was mentioned in the story before we saw a glimpse of her body in a flashback. and throwing the rest of her crew in is just dumb.
