Uhm, not really sure about starting a new thread, but after looking at the general and immense OP cosplay thread, and seeing that some of you other folks have your own threads too, I feel it is do-able.

Just really quic; I my first coslpaying in 2006 with Mononoke Hime. Started out as Sanji crossplayer same year, and my OP cosplay-to-do-list is steady growing ever since.

Since I really enjoy dressing up, even without any special occasion, some costumes are only half done and portraits…you will see what I mean.

Love to hear what you think, ideas for upgrades or even characters, and I'd love to discuss about costume making, wig styling and prop production.
I am aming to do more female cosplays in the future, promise (cross my fingers) :3

Oh wow. Those are pretty good. I am impress with some of the face markings like Sanji's eyebrow. It looks pretty real.

I think I like the Lucci the most.

I really do enjoy cosplaying but still need a lot of improvement though, both costume-wise and posing-wise. I am really happy you like the expressions. Isn't Sanjis eybrow the cutest thing ever? I love that curl…I should wear it more often <3

Yeah, Lucci is a hothot guy actually, I felt pimp all day in that costume haha I will remake him in August with a fantastic Kalifa looking forward to crazy photoshoot I am pondering on adding more leopard painting, maybe on both arms and cheeks plus a tail. What do you think? And have to get me a Hattori!

Do you mind if I make a suggestion for your eyebrow for Sanji? It is an awesome eyebrow and maybe this is just a petpeev but try to see if you could get the curl to start at the end. I notice that it started close to the end but you can see a bit after where it starts curling. Maybe it just me though and I am being crazy. haha

Still yeah. You are going have to show us the remake of Lucci since the one you have right now is really good.

Thank you so much people, I am very happy you like it. Lucci really was a blast to do, a lot of smirking and evul looking, but also a lot of free character improvisation.

Personally I love the 'water 7 sanji standig at bench w nami' because of it looks really like some one piece shots of sanji in the manga. I know everybody have their own impressions and visions of the characters, and these are mine :3 Shanks is definitely on my to-do list for full cosplay, a pity I don't have the wig anymore.

@MAX THANK YOU <333 I shot SO many photos to get that cover-face right, but I'm really satisfied with how it turned out. And it was fun styling the wig and painting scars and beard.

Ah, now I understand it, the picture actually helped! Thank you, I will see it through until next Sanji-cosplay. Maybe I'll have to make some of my eybrow dissapear, or the curl will end up on the wrong place. It's a tricky work to get it done where it will be seen free of hair. But I think I got a solution for that too.

Okay, I hope it works out. I cosplayed as Sanji before and the eyebrow was kind or troublesome. Still hope it works out the solution.

Also I thought you cosplay as Morgan too though Lucci is way better. haha

A little something something I found
Den-Den mushi! My 2 first to go in sculpturing. Made a while back, the outer material is paperclay (air dried and gets very light) and inside is some metal wire. Acryl paint.

Just to make sure it wont happen again. Because in one of the W7 Sanji-pics I see a VERY clear duckface. And this is purely for your own good, I'm not mocking you. But if you want to be taken seriously, or even HALF-seriously as a cosplayer, please avoid doing duckface.

Yeah, I made some den den mushi too, and I love them. Theyre so cute in the manga and I want to create lots of them. I plan to make a wrist-band holder for one of the smaller ones as well.
.. It's kinda crazy what nami can stuff into that top un-noticed. Sty sure got that ability too

lol I know. Maybe that's the word I needed; Afro Okama Luffy The afro should be more controlled,roundish and a bit bigger for afro luffy I think.

Done much with my hair for cosplay, but no, I didn't shave it of. :happy:
It's a 'bald-cap' and some hair extension I glued on to it. The bald-cap is glued to my head and tried to cover the edges by smothing the color differences with make up.

My Nojiko cos is progressing, debute her in a week after all. Worked a lot with the wig today, it still needs styling though.
Clothes-wise I got the stuff except the sandals, since it is such an simple cosplay I really want the details to be good as possible.

Here's a try-out of the tattoo and clothes. I didn't find the golden armband yet, and the tattoo is only done with water colours and without looking at any reference pic, so meh

Also, I notices something troubelsome with photos of this cosplay; the wig looks too blue and the shirt too whie. Actually I was very pleased with the nice light blue and yellow shades I found…

Just had a wonderful weekend, but a few things went wrong with both Nojiko and Lucci, the one day I got the wrong colour for tattoos and no golden armband and no oranges! The day after I was super tired and forgot brown contacts and pidgeon, so Lucci didn't get much upgrade, more the contrary heh.

Anyway, we had so much fun and here's a few photos.

Gadawn, I did another OP cosplay and didn't post it in here yet! Shame on me.
I went as Ryuuma at J-popcon in Denmark this November. We had also this time gathered quite a few Thriller bark characters.

Took me some days to complete, the most difficult task being painting the garment, but I developed a quite good technique in the end by using a very light paint and caligraphy brush.
An overall comfy cosplay, even the footwear was cool. Only the mask was a pain to wear, so have to try and fix that one. Also the handle on the sword has to be re-done. Everything is hand made from scratch.
