Those definitions aren't simply for theatre. They're for any story. The link I posted in my previous posts likens the idea to films, as an example of that.

We started noticing Pt 2 was listed as "Reserved" 4 weeks before it's actual release date. When we get to next week, the 20th, that will make it 4 weeks until Part 3 is to be released.
I hope we see good news next week (though I still can't stop myself from checking the status every day)…....

True, as it reads and I quote with the word in bold/capitals that I take it to mean we will get the dubbed opening/endings in the next box set "The closing credits for episodes 207-230 have altered from the original Japanese broadcast. Additionally, both the opening and closing credits from THOSE episodes do not feature an English audio option"
But I have a strange feeling for some reason that we wont get it dubbed for the next box set either, god I hope I am wrong…

It does this up until Crazy Rainbow is the opening. I don't think they ever said why they did it though.

I doubt they'd let us know either way. This could be one of those things that can get changed at the last second. Like how there were plans to dub the songs like normal but they never let us know about the licensing issues until we actually got the sets.

There's no harm but it would just get ignored. I referred to the whole thing before to Charlene Ingram on Twitter and got no answer. But she was quick to respond to my earlier Tweet that I liked the dubbed songs and hope they could bring them back, saying stuff like "The OP team is putting all their love into everything!".
And if you wanted to look really far into that you could argue that she could've just told me that the songs will be back in Voyage 3, or at least that there's plans for it.
Sorry if it sounded like I was trying to discourage you from asking. Who knows, if enough people show an interest they may make some kind of statement on it. Even if they don't though we're at least a week away from the release so it wouldn't be too bad I guess.

When does FUNi announce their February release list? No reason to assume voyage four wont be on it.

No Blu-Rays. The One Piece series has never seen a Blu-Ray release in Japan (outside the movies) so it's not surprising.
If/when Toei decides to do Blu-Rays for Episodes 207+, then we could reasonably hope for a BD release for us in the future following whatever grace period Toei would presumably set.

It's regular DVD, but the aspect ratio is the appropriate 16:9, and the picture quality is SUPERB.

I don't get this logic. Why would you wait for something that will likely never happen when you could be supporting the DVDs now? I watch the DVDs on my HD TV with my Blu-Ray player and the quality is as close to Blu-Ray as you can get. Until Japan gets Blu-Rays of the series, America never will. And in the meantime, you're one less sale to help support the series for future season licensing.
EDIT from above post: I had not heard anything about Toei releasing Blu-Rays, but even if they do, this will still be several years before we can even think about getting them here.

(In an ominous voice) Because people are starting to wait for the Collections and/or BD releases, so they are not buying the Voyages anymore; sales are down, interest is waning, OP is entering into a downward spiral of entropy and mass extinction~.
In all honesty, it's probably nothing. Hell, maybe it's getting an early March release if it's not coming out in February.

Imo, it is silly, but some people are just OCD (they want all their OP DVDs to have the "Collection" name) or want the best video quality no matter what (in this case, waiting for something that might not come for a really long time) so they don't have to double dip. Everyone is better off getting these, especially because of the prices. Imagine if Funi charged their older $30+ price tag (like for the old Voyages)…then it'd be somewhat more understandable for those that don't want to double dip. But hey, it could be worse, Funi's prices could be like Sentai Filmworks (i.e. around $35 for the DVD-only sets and $40 for the BD-only sets).
I doubt we'll ever get Bluray. One Piece is a long series. Why would they start licensing older episodes (of this Special Edition remaster) when they can always just keep licensing new ones? I doubt we'll ever get season four and five on bluray, unfortunately. As for collections- I've bought both sets of releases- it doesn't cost much at all. Double dipping cost the price of a single Sentai set.
I'm hoping they aren't done listing the Feb releases. I'm really looking forward to the reveal that comes with the first few episodes of that set.

Chill out, Zephray. I appreciate your love and concern for the series, but after actually getting season 4, I don't think we need to have a heart attack every time something odd happens. Stay strong and believe in FUNi. I believe sales for season 4 are doing good.
I dunno, there's just something about One Piece that doesn't inspire much hope for it''s well-being here. No matter what, there always seems to be someone worrying about it at some point or another… I wonder why. Does no one believe in it? That's... kinda sad. =/
I don't doubt the sales. I have faith in the series. I just thought they were skipping a month, because I saw a false release sheet. They've skipped a month plenty of times before, and they recently postponed many of the December releases. Im just excited for water seven, I suppose. Definitely my favorite arc.

Plus, I'm one of the believers that the 'false' announcement of season six and Z was actually true. I'm not worried about the series continuing. Season five was announced on my birthday. 
Edit: the only thing I find strange about the 'false' season six announcement is that it's over 100 episodes. Thriller Bark to the end of Impel Down is a huge season.

One Piece Season 5 and 6
Season 5 (Episodes 264 – 336) will span the entire Enies Lobby Arc, as the Straw Hat Pirates continue their battle with CP9, and ends with the Ice Hunter Arc.
Season 6 (Episodes 337 – 451) marks the beginning of the Thriller Bark Arc and follows the Luffy and the gang all the way to the end of the Impel Down Arc.
This extremely popular series is based on the manga by Oda Eiichiro and follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his band of Straw Hat Pirates. The series is currently into its 556th episode. Fans can watch the simulcast episodes Saturdays at 10:00 pm EST on www.onepieceofficial.com .
Fans can look for One Piece Season 5 to hit DVD in the summer of 2013, with Season 6 right behind it in the summer of 2014.

With regards to the possiblity of season 6 being 100 episodes and covering up to the end of impel down, it would be a fair bet that funimation haven't thought that far ahead yet, and will probably break the episodes up into a further two seasons at a later date. However this all depends on whether or not the email sent was legitimate.I beleive it was ,but I can't help but feel sorry for the person who made this awful blunder. Wonder what became of them…...
I think the email was too specific about the episodes they got. If it had just mentioned Season 6, but gave no data about it, I'd be skeptical, but they included everything down to the exact episode listing and names of the arcs.
I'm pretty sure this is real, just a wonderful accidental leak.
