I think Luffy could of been placed with the rule of 3rd's in mind. But otherwise it was a huge improvement on the last cover.

I feel ok with this cover… would have looked better if Luffy were running at Eneru from behind than the Luffy being in front of Eneru. Still...compared to how weird Luffy and Eneru looked on the first cover, I like this one better.

I'm loving this cover as much as everyone else is, but Nami just seems random in the background (I know, I know, she was on Maxim, but she just looks so alone back there! xD).
I'd like to see this first cover, also. On the hunt I go…

I actually like it, too. I won't mind whichever one they end up going with, but I think I'm siding more with the new cover, because I'm getting more of the "I'm god!" vibe from Eneru on that one.

I can't Freaking wait till we finally get out of skypiea and get into G8 and the foxy arc. Then get rid of the bullshit filler then finally Water 7. I wish life would hurry.

I too love this new cover a lot more. The old one looked too much like fanart for me, but this one actually fits the flow of the season 3 covers and looks downright epic. If nothing else, Enel makes it all worth it

Yuck, the first rendition of the cover for season 3 vol 3 looked HORRIBLE!! I am in LOVE with the new one, it looks FANTASTIC x3 my sis sent me a cell pic of it at work since I work overnights, oh man..I am soo soo excited for this boxset, SOO EXCITED XD

Both covers are okay. Certainly a step-up from the first two of the season.

The first one I thought had terrible interaction between Luffy & Enel ( I assume these are all done on different planes). The new one doesn't even try for that, and I think comes off the better for it.
Also as has been said the new one makes enel look grander.

I didn't like the positioning on the first one, but I liked that we saw Nami in the background. I like the Maxim too, but I feel Nami would have had more of an impact somehow, giving the audience an idea of what will happen. Well, I like both I guess, but I think I agree I like the first one a little more, or the concept behind it at least.

It's fine, at least the smoke anyway. Remember Eneru spears Luffy with his hot trident, so that could be what they are implying here. Or they may be going for something along the lines of Eneru's lightning bouncing off of Luffy's rubber body.

Well, I've finally come into some money today, So at some point today I'm planning on buying the last two voyages of Season 2, and the first two voyages for Season 3. Wish I could've got the money for this before the manga break started, so I could've already started watching these to quench my One Piece thirst but I still need something to occupy my time.

I got my Shikabane Hime sets this past week, which may or may not have the trailers for it on there. Seeing as these are the first September releases I've gotten, there is a good chance it may, as Third Voyage comes out in October.
I'll let you guys know when I have a chance to skim through them.

I picked up S2V2-S2V4 at Dragon*Con last weekend for $20 a pop. It was impulsive but there was so little OP merchandise I bought everything they had.

So glad they changed that newest cover. Shows me they at least have a little sense and they're thinking. I mean, the new one ain't perfect with luffy running sideways across air and everyone at a different perspective, but that last one was just a tragedy.
Well, so far, Season 3 covers are all still very nice to look at.

They coooould do Season 4 1st voyage and start the widescreen with second…. but if they ever got blu-ray rights, that would mess things up a bit.

Yeah, exactly why I'd prefer Season Four beginning with #207. Things are just more clean if Season Three Fifth Voyage is those eleven episodes.

This is great news. I won't be able to order anything during the month of February (do to me moving out of state), so at least I'll be able to get the end of Skypiea before then.
It'll suck not being able to see dubbed G8 right away…

Also finally the last of Skypeia is going to come out then we get 196-208 I'm thinking, so that's the whole G8 filler plus two episodes of Long Ring Long Land. in which we will hear foxy's voice and others of the crewmates of his. All I can say is FUCKING FINALLY we are nearz.

Yes I hope they don't decide "hey lets bullshit them" but then again Foxy appears in episode 207 so its still in the air.
