@Cyan:
Darth is so polite when advocating the slaughter of refugees, STOP MAKING FUN OF HIM
Well thats a lot from somebody like you who doesnt bring anything to almost any discussion that you are taking part of.
Sure Darth is too pesimistic over OP in general because his favourite marines(with all dissapointment that he presents I really wonder if he really likes OP marines or his own version of it builded up around concept that Oda created) yet his posts are more interesting than average joe posters here- like you for example.
Darh over the time will lessen his expectations and learn to enjoy what he gets more and it will be fine, on other hand it seems like there is no hope for your getting at people, like you did few times on me already or
at Darth at this moment.
As for most dissapointing thing in One Piece- it was Foxy Arc as it felt like filler no matter how many times I get back to it. It was only moment when Oda did lost some of his touch for bunch of chapters.
Since then I cant complain as I am getting awesome manga for so many years already and decade of it will still come.
@zxcv11791:
It think its great that Darth and others don't Oda as perfect and points out faults in the story. Lack of petty insults when disagreeing is nice too.
Personally I feel like the fights this arc keep cutting out or short before anything interesting happens. For all the Zoro vs Pika hype, they clashed twice already and just keep cutting out from the actual fight.
It was kind of the same since Punk Hazard. At fishman island fights were pretty short as enemies were far weaker than Strawhats. Dressrosa also has only glimpses of fights of powerhouses.
But at least what we get from fights of big guys is top notch in choreography in my opinion- Law vs Smoker, Sanji vs Vergo or Smoker vs Vergo were short but sweet, same as some fights that came later.
As for those offscreened fights - I think that time for chapter-long fights will come later in the story as we will know more about how strong strawhats are exactly and as they will have to struggle and go really all out against Yonko crew for example we will have long, sweet fights that we are after since Enies Lobby(at least I am).
Also look at how well this pacing of fights during Dressrosa works in volume relase- here its volume 73
With so many storylines going on at same moment and so many fights being fought its best choice to cut of some fights really short in my opinion.
