Wait, was one of you girls the Inazuma who cosplayed at Anime Boston 2010? P.S. I always make it my mission whenever I go to an anime convention to make a collection of pictures for any and ALL One Piece cosplayers that I find. There weren't that many a while ago but I saw quite a few at Otakon last year and Anime Boston this year.

As far as I know, binkxy wore Inazuma at Anime LA 2010 only. And if I could look at Photobucket at work, I'd send a picture. However, I can't; blocked at work.

@Ace_san_is_awesome No, I wasn't at Anime Boston- was at Anime LA. Iva and Inazuma were sort of a cosplay do or die. We had planned a skit and I got very sick right before the convention. But regardless, lots of love to Inazuma/Iva cosplayers!

very nice episode! for me anime is very distinctly seperated from RL so i find cosplaying pretty interesting
the first con i'll go to (just as a visitor, not as a cosplayer) will be NYAF this year, i hope i see you guys there

btw you talked about having a coke drinking competition; there are people who have fainted after drinking a lot of coke because of too much CO2 in the blood or something. you should look into it. although it could be just an urban legend.

Urban legend, I'm assuming. I've never heard of that. And we get volunteers for drinking cola, so usually, they're sure they can handle it.

Also, it's regulated by drinking through a straw. So people aren't spilling all over themselves and their costumes. Spilling is also a way to cheat. Which no one should do…except the judges (us).

Also, the cola drinking contest is seeing how fast you can drink one soda, not how many you can drink, so I doubt there's any danger. Anyone who's not healthy to drink one soda should question if they're healthy enough to even be at the convention. And yeah, you're right - there are stories of people even dying from drinking too much liquid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

@binkx Okay, the reason I asked was because I got a picture of another Inazuma cosplayer at Anime Boston this year that also followed the manga version. You're costume and hers look pretty similar.

Very interesting discussion you guys had I honestly never knew just how much there was to cosplaying other than just dressing up. Never gave much thought to how much work is actually involved in it. You learn something new every day, as they say.
