To anyone who is intrested this is why I quit:
Out of 10 reviews for the first episode 5 were negative, 3 were 50/50 and 2 were positive. Now lazily I thought why even bother try to improve the scripts so I quit amongst other personal reasons. But then I thought hang on lets make this work so I rejoined to do that and prove a few people wrong. Lets hope my plan pays off! And even if people don't like episode 1 fair enough but that won't stop me, you can't expect everyone to like what you do. I guess I'm like a Saiyan/Saiya-jin whenever I get weakned/recieve a bad review I get more stronger/funnier. If that makes any sense…

I actually think its pretty good so far. I would give it about 9/10.

Luffy's voice is alright I guess. The jokes in this 2nd promo aren't bad but not all that funny either. I would recommend steering away from this "serious but then silly" method. It can easily backfire but I'm assuming you're just promoting the parody with that method and wont be doing the same with the series.

For the most part no but there will be moments, that I can promise. To be perfectly honest when I re-read the scripts the other night I didn't like them but then I read them again I realized I do but they're different in style I suppose to other abridged series. They're still funny but in a different style. It's like comparing Frasier and Friends, Fraiser is more clever humour whereas Friends for the most part is jokes that you get straight away. But they're equally funny but different. So our series will be a bit of obvious comedy, a bit of steering to silly, a bit of randomness and a mixture of other things. But I have a feeling this series will change over time, character traits will evolve well at least in my mind anyway.
Also being from Britain our humour is very different to american comedy. For example over here we have a show called the royle family which used to be , not so much nowdays about a family sat on the sofa for a half an hour talking about turkey twizzlers. I don't think you'd get that in say the simpsons. So I think being british my humour will be very different.

So far I think the problem is the way your taking this. Watch Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged. You can tell that LK was having fun and not taking it entirely serious. You, on the other hand, are making promos for it , as if you are going to earn money with it and thats the only important thing. Take it less serious and just have fun, and it'll help. It won't make a it a sure thing that its good, though.. This is of course just my opinion..

Thanks for the advice. Well I knew it anyway but I find it harder because it's harder for me to have fun hwen I'm pressured to make it good. I script edited another episode 1 script and I think you could tell I had fun writing it. Same applies for my Doctor Who abridged.
