Super Mario Crossover

Hahaha, nice game. Loving the old characters, great choices.
-
Er, wow.
Mario has it EASY, this game is HARD. I can't imagine how someone could beat this thing using Simon only.
-
Pretty cool game, but I always hate having to use the keyboard controls. Even with Mario that makes the game a lot tougher.
-
Niice one. I like using Megaman XD He seems to get several advantages when it comes to shooting through walls.
-
Link is too floaty when he jumps >_<
-
Dang it Having to crouch to hit goombas is going to take some getting use to.
-
yea its really hard ot play this. not cause the game is bad or players gimped or anything, but because i have no nes controler to play it with.
its weird as heck using left hand for buttons and right hand for direction. i know i can change controls, but still without a controller in my hand it will still not work

Playing through Mario Bros in Contra style?
Epic ! -
So an updated version will be coming out soon and a new challenger approaches:
! Zdr95SSgm2g
Can't wait to see if any others will be added.
-
This game is similar to Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.
-
You gotta love blasting all those goombas to bits with Bill R.
-
Bill R's jumping is completely inappropriate for a Mario game.
-
Wow, that's pretty awesome.
It's funny because I don't think I've played a Mega Man game since I was REALLY young (like 15 - 17 years ago) and somehow the sounds and music is nostalgic to me.
How is that? I was like… 4 or 5. XD

Was the Master System Sega's NES equivalent? If so, I'd like to see Sonic in the game (I've wanted to see a platforming crossover between Mario and Sonic, regardless of the completely different playing styles that the two series have, for years now), seeing as he did appear in a game on that system (http://sdb.drshnaps.com/display.php?object=6468). Then again, I don't know whether the game's creator intends for this to be exclusive to NES characters or just 8-bit characters.

The guy who made it's done some interviews. Seems this is basically the first game he's made and took a year to do it. I can imagine, programming in flash can be pretty hard, and you need to be really ambitious to even attempt something like this, let alone finish it to the end with a totally working system, learning all you need to.
Seems he was planning from the start to have more characters, but it was taking forever so he released it with those. Now he's gonna add a few more. Or at least one… doesn't get too specific.

When I read that you can play as Link, I thought of the old "Links Awakening" game and the only thing running through my mind was "SHIT SHIT YOU GONNA DIIIIE YOU GONNA DIIIIE"
Then I remembered other Zelda games had better movement.

Aside from one new character all the others are getting various improvements which can be toggled on and off.
