The sixth's movie comes out next Thursday on DVD. Does anyone plan on getting it? (and sending it to me 
?) Also do we know if any fansub group plan on subbing it? I cant wait to see it!!!

[snapback]90285[/snapback]I'm "trying" something with it, but it's a joint effort with my parents to help me in translation, so I can't really guarantee anything. I don't know -anything- about karaoke and I'll be looking at whether I should encode or just give you an .ssa file when I'm done. Maybe I should find someone to fix it up at the end just so I have no regrets about some error later on o.o
The cover looks marvelous, it's almost like.. shiny. The goldfish scene cracks me up every time

There's already been dvd rips of the movie for the rental version. crossbones says it is exactly the same. They're subbed in chinese. I've already offered to send them to people, so far no takers. -

I saw the movie in its LQ form and planning to stick with this until the subbed one came out. For the DVDs, I really don't know because I never saw any of the One Piece Movies sold in Thailand except for the fourth one which I think it's limited edition or else the polices caught it.

Forgive me for the revival. Urrrgent~ (and I figured it'd be better than making a new thread altogether)
I told some people I'd be at least trying to do movie 6 subs, and I've got about 260 some lines left but all the timing is done. But, this is my first attempt on a fansub and the only thing I know how to do is putting on regular subtitles. I can't seem to do karaoke or any other effects with the program, and substation alpha won't install on my computer even though it appears to meet the requirements.
I did maybe 30% of the "translations" +/-, and my parents together did the rest. Since they told me that it was hard for them to directly translate to English, they told me to make up a sentence based off what they said the general meaning of the sentence was.
But… I'm kinda feeling like I want to give up, since there are a lot of lines that we can't get at all. No QC, no good translator, no karaoke person. I just sorta want someone else to take over for me. I don't want to have to leave the subs alone to do nothing just because the three of us can't get 15% of the dialogue. I question a lot of the dialogue that my parents told me to put in. I really don't want to get bashed everywhere for giving out poor subs
I started thinking about this more than half way through, but I didn't want to quit and have all those hours and days I spent asking what this-and-that meant for naught, so I kept going. Now I'm just feeling.. at a loss.If some members here help, maybe we can say that AP released Movie 6 fansubs :0 with permission.. Or, Gerusama is doing Water 7, and the movie was made to be in the arc somewhere, right? So..
In any case, it's been troubling me for more than a few days. Can someone help me please~? You'd make me one of the most happiest girls alive :0

That's awesome that you put in all that effort, Cinder. I wish I could help, but of course, I can't speak Japanese. I hope someone will step up and help. It would be awesome to see it subbed so quickly.

I might be able to help. I do decent approximations from Japanese wording to English. I could at least go through the script and see what I can come up with. I'm probably not the best, but I'm okay, if you need the help.
As long as the sentences have the rough wording in english, I can generally figure out what they're trying to say.

I feel so relieved that people are replying ^__^ I wonder if saiyaman's going to bring out a raw.. everyone seem to have different versions of the movie. The timings on the script would be off a bit if everyone had different versions >.< Thank you Konis!
