Yeah I hope the quality is good, would be nice to see the davy back fight :). I talked to the encoder on irc for a bit and he said he was an encoding noob, but we'll see.. (slow download though..)

The quality is better than Hell-HK. i didnt checked the subbing. i hope they are better than Hell-HK.

Ok, video quality: no complaints. (even seemed like DVD rip to me) Sub is for the most part ok - the subber has his own style, like when Luffy says "yosh! Yarodomo!" it is translated as "Bastard Crew!" but everything is good english and understandable. And he's obviously been watching KF since he translated nakama as nakama too. He even had karaoke for the intro song so obviously some work was put in. I'm gonna follow these for Davy Back.
Btw we get to see Donquichotte punishing Bellamy in this episode :D

was very nice quality infact i'd say excellent, i loved some of the effects that were done, will be interesting to see how he does with moves but i'll look forward to seeing some more of his work.
the only problem was the lack of subtitles on the next ep preview.

I should a nice sub, video quality was superb the subs where good, aint got nothing to whin about ^^ i'm definetly looking forward to more subs from him(or her) ^_^

Hmm… Now I am not to sure about Bellamy dieing. Why would Doflamingo say he will let Bellamy do what he wishes about the new age if he just was going to kill him? Wouldnt that mean that he would keep Bellamy alive to let him do whatever he wanted with the new age?

Hmm.. It was allright.. nothing like Gerusama and KF, so hopefully if its not as good.. they'll continue to release them faster and faster.

The only problem really is some subs flash across the screen too fast.. for example Usopp called Robin a "ship disturber" but I bet no-one saw that because it was only onscreen for a few microseconds..

Seems like the translation and timing is taken on-the-fly, but it's good enuf as a speed-sub. I think he's alone on these subs(like i was when we were new).
Some extra ppl will make it better, i think :)

You should try recruit him/her/them, Gerusama. :) I'd think having two OP fansubbers would be enough, at this point in time.

Yeah especially since Gerusama and his crew are devoted into subbing the recent episode that aired in Japan starting from the memory lost Arc, while Kaizoku Fansubs crew is devoted from taking it episodes from the DVD. I think I'l only DL from Hell FS for One piece untill the End of the DBF. Hey at the rate 4kids is handling the anime, They'll be catching up to Japan soon.
