Actually I already suspected it… Now I think I will not waste anymore my money buying ugly bootlegs (some months ago I buyed a POP Luffy, and when I found out it was a bootleg I cried a lot of tears).
Uff... with all these bootlegs figures on sale on on-line shops and on e-bay we have to think 100 times before buying. I think that the secret is just to buy everytime on the same safe sites, but the fact is that I'm a neophyte... I don't even have Paypal yet (but I'm providing to getting it).
In the next few days I'll get my Paypal card and then I can finally buy figures in a safer way from safer sellers, maybe with your suggestions on where to buy.

@donato amiami.com, hlj.com, hobby search (google it forgot the site address),otacute.com,play-asia.com.... well those are the best sites to buy in asia. but for older models, ebay is the easiest place to find them. or better yet if you could find someone in japan to get the items for you. (cheaper too)

That isnt a bootleg of the POP version but a bootleg from the Banpresto DX figure.
They released the Adventure, Pimp and Suit Chopper as large DX figures.

Does this look reputable? He ships from Japan, has 100% FB, and I see nothing wrong with the pictures of the figures themselves.

It seems pretty obvious at this point that Otacute is never going to fulfill my preorder, so I'm ready to risk a ban from them in the event that they do get Jimbei/Dofla just to be sure I can get them at all. Sucks that I have to resort to this ~_~

I'm just hoping it won't be a bootleg, lol. The seller has 99.7% ish feedback though, and has a lot of other MBHs for sale, so I'm optimistic, at least. Plus, even though Ebay has a shipping-within-3-days thing going on, he shipped out less than 24 hours later. Reliable, at least, and always answered my questions immediately. I just hope it gets here okay. Staring at the tracking site is driving me nuts. ^

I don't even know if it's legal to have pre-orders open over 45 days before the pre-order is scheduled to come out ;-; Cause that's the time frame you can open a case in, I think, if it turns out badly or is fake. I personally wouldn't have used toy_cardseller if I thought there were more options open. He appears to have good feedback on that account and when I asked if it was official/authentic he replied that it was and that it was Banpresto licensed, but on kakalolo he tries to scam people out of money by charging multiple times for shipping even if he packages several items together, so my impression of him isn't good.

And he apparently HAS sent bootlegs before, though others have gotten legit merch from him as well so I can't be sure. Either way I'm not getting my hopes up too much. If you don't see any other way to get Boa, you can try pre-ordering from him…but 4 months in advance is pretty crazy ;-;

I can't tell from the pic if it's the original or NEO but I'd still like to see.

Rofl, I asked them about the Super DX Ace pre-orders he had going and he replied with this incredibly dodgy reply that was completely irrelevant to what I had asked.
And right after I read the reply, someone had already bought the last Super DX Ace but I don't really care since it sort of seems like a scam and possibly even a bootleg.

It's also kinda suspicious that they're on ebay.fr, and are demanding immediate feedback. It's probably someone in France peddling bootlegs and trying to cover it up with feedback before arrival.

I pre-ordered one just now but after I registered and everything while ordering, I tried logging back in afterwards and it asks me for a password which I never had the option to set. And then to retrieve the password, it asks for a customer ID which I was never given.
What the hell? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Yeah, that sucks about toy_cardseller, he just keeps jacking up the price if he senses interest in the figure. I mentioned this before, but I once asked him on kakalolo about a figure and if he'd combine shipping, and as soon as he received my question he went and listed the same figure for 3 dollars more. Raised the price cause he saw I hadn't bid yet and saw I was interested. So I didn't buy it from him, simple as that. Pre-ordering Super DX Ace was simply a last resort. =_=

My door just has a tiny catflap that the mailman shoves mail in from. I especially love it when I receive figurines in envelopes that were well padded but thin enough so that he just fits them in the door, I hate having to pick stuff up at the office. xd

That's strange, have you made an account on HLJ before? It's been a while since I made mine, so I'm not too sure, sorry… did you provide them with an email? They should send a confirmation email to your account later if you placed an order. The username you sign into your account with is your provided email, btw.

May be it is like some website where there's a lag time before it becomes effective. I don't recall my first time registering for HLJ. But, I had some more Memories of Merry Robin and Zoro figures that I had forgotten to cancel so I went in to cancel and it worked perfectly fine. The first page does say:
"Our order processing and e-mail replies will take place on a limited basis until we return on Aug. 17. "
Maybe their ordering side is limited or down. They won't answer emails until they return but you can send them an email, maybe.

That's really cool Izumi. It gave me an idea and I put Luffy's coat on SAnji. I placed a little wrapping tissue under the coat so I wouldn't damage Sanji's sleek suit. Sanji looks so cool!

After searching around their site and reading more of the FAQ, I found out that their systems don't update in real time.
And then I read the entire email and it says the order won't be entered into their system until they return, which explains what it says in the FAQ.

I just hope my order goes through, I really want Hancock. :(

Pre-orders that are past the 30 day limit are not allowed on ebay, because there would be no buyer protection. Also he may not be able to change the shipping address because then he would lose out on seller protection.
