I was curious as to how does One Piece gain monery being broadcast in the web for free,then I learned that video sites such as That Guy with the Glasses earn money with advertising.Does One Piece do this too?

In sites like Funimation who stream One Piece for free, ads and viewings do give revenue.
There are a few others that do, but not every site does. If I were you, I'd stick with whatever was giving the One Piece bunch money such as Funimation.

They need around 40,000 viewers per video I believe to make a discernible profit on each video, or so I've heard.
