Implying the Wii doesn't have games, or anything better than the GameCube is laughable.
Oh I'm sorry, I thought this topic was for opinions, you know where it said favorite consoles.
The majority of the games you listed I couldn't care less about. I play the games that I enjoy, and I judge the consoles based on those. And by that the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube outdo the Wii by a whole bunch. Aside from SMG and TP on occasion, my Wii is only used to play GCN games.
If only Nintendo had put even the slightest bit of effort into Animal Crossing City Folk I might have a little respect for them and the Wii. Animal Crossing had become my favorite series, but Nintendo has pretty much slapped us fans from the beginning on the face. And that was the final straw for me. I was also not happy with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I felt it could have been a whole lot better. Melee was mind blowingly awesome to me for several years, Brawl has been collecting dust for 2 years.
So you could say that Nintendo just chose to screw up the wrong games for my case. If I had been really big into Mario platformers I would have loved this generation, but no those games are only fun to me for a little while. Animal Crossing and SSBM were the games that I played obsessively in the last generation.
Call me crazy and too set on a few games, but this topic was asking for my favorite, my opinion. I gave it. The Wii has failed to entertain me on too many levels. Nintendo 64 and GCN did not.
