So, Today I was checking the funimation website's news section as I often do to see if there would be anything about one piece. Say, an acquisition of Season 4. No such luck there, but I found this article!
Strong World is being Dubbed!!
We have some great news for all you One Piece fans out there! We've just acquired the rights to dub the tenth One Piece Movie: Strong World.
The movie joins the Luffy Pirates on their quest to find the great treasure, One Piece. On their journey, they are told that East Blue is in crisis. While desperately trying to find a way back to East Blue, Luffy and crew meet a mysterious man- Shiki, The Lion of Gold, who arrives in a flying ship! Things get worse when the Lion of Gold kidnaps crewmate Nami! It's up to the Strawhats to rescue her in this epic seafaring adventure.
The cast from the anime series will, of course, be reprising their roles for this movie:
Monkey D. Luffy- Collen Clinkenbeard
Roronoa Zoro- Christopher R. Sabat
Nami- Luci Christian
Usopp- Sonny Strait
Sanji- Eric Vale
Tony Tony Chopper- Brina Palencia
Nico Robin- Stephanie Young
Franky- Patrick Seitz
Brook- Duncan Brannan
Shiki- The Lion of Gold- J. Michael Tatum
Indigo, Billy- Mike McFarland
The Movie is set for a DVD release of August 17, 2010. The DVD will be packaged with the Manga's Volume 0, which tells the backstory of the movie's antagonist, The Lion of Gold.
The American movie website (onepiecestrongworld.com) will be up and running on April 6th, 2010. Be sure to check this website for any news regarding the tenth One Piece Movie.
This is awesome! Apparently Brook is being voiced by Duncan Brannan, who voiced Mr. 3. Kind of a weird choice, but it might work. And that's not all , Volume 0 is being released! I guess that IS what Viz and Funi were planning.
We'll finally get to hear Franky and Brook in the anime! And to top it all off, Shiki is played by J. Michael Tatum!
All we need now is for Vic Mignogna to sing the theme for Movie 10 and we'll be set.
I almost forgot, the website said something about
