      What are your favorite places?

      Mine:
Boston - My city. Boston has got to be the greatest city in the country. We got history, theatre, sports, art, parks, shopping - everything.

Dolly Island, Lake Winnepesaukee - My friend Eli owns a house on this island. It is so beautiful and serene. It also happens to be my port of call.

The Negev, Israel - The Negev is the desert in southern Israel and it is absolutely stunning. It's magnificent beyond words. I love it there.

Of the places I've been I'd have to pick the following:

Rocky Mountain National Park (I love nature and this was just beautiful without being over-crowded like Yellowstone)
The Finger Lakes region, New York (It is just a beautiful area - went on a bike tour there and it was great)
Dublin, Ireland (great city, lots of history and the Guinness is fresh)
Chicago, Illinois (so much to do so much to see - Gino's East - and you can get the good liqueur truffles at Godiva there - they're not allowed to sell them here 😞 - the waterfront, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park, the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, Michigan Avenue - the city has it all and isn't quite as intimidating as NYC)

Of course this is all based on places I've been so far so its a little limited. I've been to 2/3 of the states, Ontario and Ireland.

And you can dream - So dream out loud

              Preikestolen - Norway

Mt. Myoko near Nagano - Japan - If the weather is fine, you'll see straight to Fuji-san. Great view!

Namba & Tennoji - Osaka, Japan - My favourite places to buy stuff. Has EVERYTHING! CHEAP!

Svinesund - Sweden - The place to buy cheap coke/fanta/red bull. It's too expensive in Norway!

West-Berlin - Germany - Well, I kinda liked that city…looks in a way similar to japanese cities.

Canada - Norway 2 B) But much much larger and more wildlife 😄

I like North Spain. The weather can be very gloomy, but the cities are nice, it's good food, and outside of the city like the beaches and eucalyptus forests are beautiful.

The forest in the Oakland Hills. If you go to the top of the mountains, you will see the whole of Oakland, Berkely, and San Francisco. The nature is great, and if you go on some mountains, you can see green plains and blue lakes.

Japan in general because I loved my time there so much and want to make a career in translation.

My grandparent's house in Edinburgh (Scotland) and Edinburgh itself - I always love going there. So many memories. Especially since my Granny died about 4 years ago.

Yuki's house in Japan - I miss Yuki so much and I loved her house and my room there.

London - I live here, always have, and love it or hate it, it's a part of me.

Itsuka's house in Japan - I remember her helping me with my Japanese homework on the table in the dining room while her dad used a dictionary to try and speak to me in English.

My Uncle Mike's house in Portsmouth - Because he's one of my favourite people in the world.

My Bedroom - It's my own space and I love it.

The Youth Centre in Tokyo - I remember having such a brilliant time with my friends… and my best friend especially who's moved to a different country now. And feeling relaxed and happy, and us all on the sofas or going into each other's rooms...

                    There are waaay more but I'm so sentimental/sappy so... ^^;

West Central Indiana can be pretty nice: In the spring and summer, its a semmingly endless sea of green, from cornfields to forests. Staring up at the sky on a summer night is incredible. And in the fall, when the leaves are falling and there's a nice cool breeze blowing…wow.

Te quise tanto que supe entregarte enterita mi alma

Te quise tanto que nunca escuche lo que hablaban de mí

Te quise tanto que para olvidarte una vida no alcanza, que queda

I really love Devil's Lake…beautiful bluffs about an hour north of here. It's so peaceful up on the bluffs, I could sit up there for hours.

Mountains in general...(even though I'm scared of heights..) they help me conquer my fears and feel at one with myself.

USA TaeKwonDo...I spend enough time there to be a full instructor, but I'm not one for two years. it makes me feel energized there...whee!

Hmmm, well okay, this is a difficult one for me to decide on, but here goes.

Italy Or more specifically, Venice. I was only there for two days but I loved it. Sweltering, muggy heat, mosquitoes, stinky canals and all. I'd go again in a heartbeat and this time I'd know to bring bug spray. The food was great, the scenery even moreso, and there was just that indefineable kind of feeling that you get when you're someplace and you just really like it there. That wasn't very helpful.

Seattle I live about two hours from there and it's just a gorgeous city, especially at night. There's a lot of great little shops all over the place, especially in the U District and the International District. Great restaurants and Pike Place Market is always worth checking out. Yes, they do have guys that throw fish. They have other things, too.

Ocean Shores It's a little tiny costal town a couple hours from Seattle. I went there once a few years ago for a karate retreat and I'm so glad I went. Karate on the beach at dawn is my new zen happy place. Not a morning person, never have been, but I gladly pried myself out of bed to go stand barefoot on cold wet sand for a few hours before breakfast. Not a lot to the town itself, but the hotels we stayed at were nice, the people were friendly, and there was some really great scenery on the drive up.

                              –Bevin

If you spoiler me, I will eat you with tater tots.

                                  Well, here's mine:

Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota - Lived here for a loooong time and I love it for than anywhere else. Some people complain that its waaay too cold, but I don't mind at all. Besides, it is often rated very high in many areas of life.

Egypt - I've never been here but it seems very interesting. I really need to go and see it sometime. Is it really all sandy and such? Meh…

I've got more, but its kinda hard to explain. Heh....

I don't have a favorite place. I enjoy myself on most places as long as I have fun people with me :).

Number one is everywhere in Japan, especially my old hometown of Seto!
But I also really like California, aka America's Freakbasket. San Francisco is just wonderful, and Fresno (where I live now), while not quite as cool as SF, is one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Well I'll have to go from the places I've visited…...which don't give me a wide variety ^_^;; But yeah....

To visit, definitely, Japan is number one. Especially Sapporo, Hokkaido, although there are a lot of other great places too. I mean it's so awesome to shop in Japan! They also have great food, great tv, and great magazines! What more could you ask for??? lol
