On April 30, 2009, it was announced that Hasbro will acquire a 50% stake in the Discovery Kids channel. The resulting joint-venture will change the channel's name to The Hub in the Fall of 2010. Discovery will oversee ad sales and distribution, while Hasbro will be responsible for programming. The then-rebranded channel will air programming for children ages 6-12, drawing largely on the libraries of both parent companies. Franchises confirmed to be featured on the network include The Transformers, My Little Pony, Adventure Camp, and Flight 29 Down.
